well today i have decided to never use a pressure washing source down in florida... some will probably guess who they are.. but ill be nice and not name names..... but their customer service is horrible! they never return a phone call, they take days/weeks for orders.. and today i was LIED TO.. i placed a order on friday (actually called 2 weeks earlier to make it.. and they never called me back) i was told that if i wanted to get the better reels they could ship it out that day because they were in stock...
well today.. they were still sitting down there in florida.... never again will these people get my money.. they just lost a customer fo real..
maybe its me guys. but all day i hear from customers and potential customers that "you actually follow up... you get our estimate to us first.... you replied instantly.... "
maybe its just the ex banker in me.. or the years of customer service and sales experiance.. but this should be the basics on EVERYONES list of doing business.. if you get a lead.. call it with in 24 hours... go look at it with in 48 hours.. and get that customer a estimate with in 48 hours of them calling you... then follow up with in 24 hours to go over the estimate.... call every 3 days until you get a NO, or a yes....... do this, and you will stand out, and you will win jobs!
we are in a industry where the guy looking for beer money can compete and under cut all of us.. if you want to be a real business... we need to act like it..

I have had great success ordering from Bob at Pressure Tek. Most times, I get my order the day after it is placed and if my call goes to voicemail, he is very prompt at returning the call.

I agree on calling customers back right away, but an estimate in 48 hrs just not happening this year. I try to do estimates twice a week, I'm sick of doubling back the next day. And yes you can't beat Bob or his helpers on the phone, you know when it's ordered its done....no worries!
I like Bob and Russ too. However, PWP has the best selection of equipment and better prices in most cases. I had to stop doing business with them, simply because of a disagreement about billing. I felt I was being double billed and they felt that this 6 month old bill was never paid? I don't believe that Lori was trying to be dishonest, anymore than I was myself. If PWP wanted to start doing business with me again today, I'd place an order with them Monday! I think the problems with not returning calls etc, is because they truly are such a good business, they are growing faster than they can keep up with! That's my 2 cents.
