Have been trying to find the best stakes to use with my yard signs as well as those that I put out over the weekend.
I started out this the 2 single wire type that swayed in the wind badly. I then order some USA Spider Stakes that I was sure was going to do the trick.
They were even worse. Some broke trying to get them into hard dirt. They are only designed to go into the ground 4", so with the wind we had over the weekend 90% of the signs fell over with 50% of those I could not find.
USA SPIDER STAKES ARE NOT THE ANSWER TO MY PRAYERS
I just cut the wire to the size I need for the use of the sign.
In a mowed yard I cut them in half and can get 2 signs per wire and if the grass is higher i cut them off at the first cross wire so its tall enough to get over the grass and you can still read it, but holds up to wind because its shorter, in tall grass use the whole wire stake.
