This week Pocono Non Pressure Roof Cleaning by Hank's Property Services will be working the night shift to clean the roof of this strip mall. Logistics made it impossible to clean it during the day. Matter of fact we will start work at 10pm and work through the night. The strip mall has a bagel shop, diner, chinese food restaurant, pizza shop, beauty salon, dance studio and pet grooming store. The bagel shop opens at 6am as well as the diner. The pizza and chinese food stores stay open until 11pm. All are open 7 days a week. I love a good challenge.

Hank way to go. Get yourself some hi output holegen lights and a generator if you dont already have them and give everything two shots and you should be golden.

Mike and Ray,

Thanks for the input. I have some lights already. This intersection is pretty lit up so no additional lighting is really needed, but you never know. Large supermarket(24 hour), Gas staion/convenience store and banking complex are all across the street. Weather forecast is favorable so I'm looking forward to this work.

Real Clean,

On a major thoroughfares up here we have to be careful with signs as the townships frown upon them without permits in place. It doesn't matter if it's private, residential or a commercial property. Pain in the neck but it's their playground and I'm playing in it.

We've done a few roofs at night. I've found the secrete is to spray hot and heavy, since you can't always see what is going on. That should be no problem here, since landscaping, cars and pedestrian traffic should be a non issue!

Business has been good considering I added this service late last summer. Most of my advertising has been flyers in a local community newspaper and rock flyers. Throw in some cold calling, 2 leads from RCIA members and things have worked out.

Ray,

No vehicle / pedestrian traffic or landscaping to worry about. It's a walkable roof even for an old man like me. Other than the local police stopping to see what's going on I'll be by myself. I'll hit it with a 60/40 mix and that should do it. Plenty of lighting from across the street. I'm bringing a light just in case.

Last night we started and completed this strip mall in the dark. The lighting from the other area businesses was enough for me to walk the roof and spray. I'm posting before and after photos in roof cleaning photos.

The trick was to shoot the mix hot. Thanks to Ray at Spray Wash Exterior Cleaning for his advice
