Another point to consider about changing the cert. program. Re-certification was put into place to make it fair for new and old members, so all had the same requirements to fulfill for certification and re-certification. How are you planning to keep it the same for everybody if the present ideas are put in place? I can foresee a lot of discussion and drama on the horizon. Ideas/suggestions?
Maybe we need a talkshoe or the chat feature turned on at a decided time for all to input.
Got to go watch Kentucky kick some azz. Back later.
Also if you have two guys working and are training someone they can watch the first half then actually do the second half with the lead tech to make sure everything is done correctly i cant see it adding to much time. I trained two guys last year and we were able to do 3 monster roofs in one day along with 2hrs off chemical mix training and pump training all within an 8 hr day. All the roof were in the same development.

WOW,, Close game, Wildcats only won by 16. GO CATS!!
I will go with whatever the majority decides on for certification...
I will say that I was able to obtain a builders license from the State of Michigan just by taking a written test, no training, building, cutting, measuring, just a test. I am not a builder and I have never built a garage, house or an addition, but I sold and produced a lot of them.

How about a press release ? Does anyone have a press release they send to their local newspaper, or tv ? If the RCIA had a press release we all could use, and send out locally, we will make the RCIA and it's certified members the "go to" experts on the topic of roof cleaning.
