After Ed's story about being stuck in the woods with a dead battery.... I'll show some of my fun here.... I was stuck inda hood....
Harrisburg has some "nice" areas... (sarcasm) ... I was rounding a corner to turn into an alley... and off flew one of my wheels.... tire, rim and all...
Some of my lugs had worked loose, egg shaped the holes... and then the whole rim just slipped off...
The tire hit nothing.... there were cars everywhere.... I don't how know it missed them ! No damage at all to anything.... I just dropped the trailer.... got a new rim and was back to work in less than 2 hours.
Thought I'd share .... Have a NICE Weekend everyone !

No Doubt ! ..... Funny thing.... I just got off the highway.... I was going atleast 70..... That could have been a major insurance claim ! I felt lucky ! In fact, no need to search for my pot o gold tomorrow !
Really. That is crazy luck and thank god it happened when it did. I had a blow out last year after a turn i tbink i hit a piece of jagged metal but not sure. Had to wait for my wife to bring a new tire and rim. Now i carry two spares in the back of my truck just in case.
Its a blessing when things go horribly wrong but No one gets hurt, like when my surface cleaner caught wind and blew off the top of my van, dangling from a single bungy cord on the handle as it banged against the side of the van. That happened as I was driving over the Raritan River Parkway Bridge at 70mph in 8am traffic.
I had the rope on my 40' ladder come untied and slip down over the side of the trailer. Then the trailer tire caught it and extended the whole way out n broke my ladder rack
I was going down the highway last yr and after asking my guy if he tide down the ladder i looked in my sideview and saw my 28 ft ladder teadering just about to fall off doing 50mph thank god i looked and was able to pull over right away. It could have been ugly.
