ordering the bandit setup for my pickup, putting 2 50 gallon tanks in the bed and asked Bob if he can incorporate a 2nd pump for transfer/backup ... i'll just add a ball valve if he can't ... also getting the truck partially wrapped ... will post pics as it moves along!!!
Sounds great Mike. I really like that Bandit setup. Once things get rolling along this year I'm thinking of a compact setup for the back of my pickup too. Are you getting the whole skid with a custom tank layout form Bob?
Let me know when you get it installed, I would like to check it out in person.
Hey mike congrats on that set up i think you'll really like it. Im planning on getting one at the begging of may when i purchase another small pick up.
@Barry - I'm just having him configure the bandit & transfer but will take care of the tanks/skid myself ... looking to configure it similare to Bruce at Sullivan's ... once it's done and you're in town cleaning my neighbor's roofs we'll hook up!!!
With the gas prices going up it is best to consolidate and try to save fuel. Why not put a 50 gallon for your mix and 100 gallon for straight SH?
that's not a bad idea at all ... i was just gonna carry an extra 30 gallon drum if need be, but yeah, that works ... at least a 75 ... looks like a lot of us are going that route!!! truck looks sick btw!!!
I just put together, a 100 a 50 and a bandit, that's the way to go like the uglys said, I bought a transfer pump that runs. Off of 12 volt. I just need to figure out where to mount it, also the 100g tanks should be PCO and not have bulkheads

Dan,
I'm going to have to come out to your place so I can see your set up. With the amount of estimates I've done this week and work already booked I might have to rethink my rig.

West Chester is tough Mike. I get plenty of calls, but they look at me like I'm robbing them. Somebody down there must be doing roof cleaning for next to nothing. I see Roof Shampoo signs everywhere, but I always thought there prices were higher than ours.

It's strange but my business is growing even in this tough economy. Late last year I had several thousand flyers inserted in the local community newspapers(free stuff on the racks) in supermarkets around here as well as placed ads on craigslist(yes, I use craigslist). This along with tax return season have me running around(a good thing). Next week we are targeting Property Owners Associations in the 60 plus private communities here in the Poconos and Assisted Living Facilities in the four surrounding counties.

I have a 110 gal and a 65 gal set up in the back of my van, I love it. I wired my delavan 5850 to my battery in the van. Eventually, I have it all set-up in the back of a pick-up, until then the van is a money making machine.
Pretty crazy, March 1, 2012 and we went out and did a roof wash, house wash and gutter cleaning! Crossing my fingers it stays like this till spring!

I hear you on that Barry ... whenever I sense a customer is shopping me around I typically don't get the green light either. When the stains come back a year later hopefully they'll go with us RCIA guys!!
We have a 100 and a 50 for the mix on our setup. We also decided to have our SH delivered, it was the same price... We will save time and gas not having to go and pick it up however we needed a Hilo to unload it. Hunted down and grabbed a Hyster last week, we found it on Craig's list!
How do you have it delivered? Can't you just use a 275 gal tote and a transfer pump?
Dan
That was our original plan but we had to commit to 10,000 gallons per drop to have a tanker truck deliver it. We opted for the drums, if we find a tanker who will deliver less than 10,000 gallons then we can sell the hyster and grab a couple of large totes.
