 Hi Tom, I used a program where you can only add your text, you can't control the speed or add any pictures to it,  this type of video would be good to put at the end of a live video or picture slide video.

If you want to have more customization forget animoto or other free programs they are all limited unless you pay money. Windows Live Movie Maker is by far the most flexible, I would suggest trying it out.
