I think theyre cool. Never used one. Dont even know much about em. It seems like there would be a few cleaning/restoration applications where it could be useful. I thought it would be good for doing certain wood restoration or lime/calcium cleaning on decorative brick.
Eric dont you need a large compressor to run a good one? Also if you go to Northern some models are $400-$600 and others are over $2k. I dont know what is the difference in models (except price obviously)
Way back in the day I had a a blaster and we used corn cob.... when I was restoring Log Homes.... Instead of using chemical stripper.... we used the corn cob blaster.... worked well removing the sikkens 3 step system.... then had to go around and shop vac all the waste.... GOOOD Money doing that ! Just had to travel way to much.... (divorce #2)... :)
