A gallon of water weighs 8.35 pounds and from gutter to the ground it should be more than one gallon filling the hose and pvc hanging from the gutter. Has anyone had any issues with bending the gutters or having them pull off the facia?
Chuck, you could glue caps on both sides of the T and drill a hole in each side to get a strong stream. Is that what you were talking about a harder stream?

Anyone know how to make a Gutter cane for hosepipe?
Here a picture of one I made about 10 years ago. It's been outside my garage in "MY PILE O' STUFF" for about 3 years.
It all comes from Home Depot. This just got too short to use. Why? Because the pvc garden hose connectors crack and leak, so I have to keep cutting the pipe back to put new ones on. This was 7' tall 10 years ago, now it's about 5'. I carry a 7' and a 10'er in my truck.
I put a cap on one side of the tee fitting so i have a left and right one, i made 4 of them just in case.

Hi Eric
Ya, I did that for a while, but I was running Home Depot out of caps!
Kept losing them. Now I just let it shoot both ways all the time.
I move it up and down a long gutter as needed too.
I wish I had kept some of my fancier concoctions to show pictures of, with shut off valves and downsized couplings with smaller pipe for harder shooting streams. I even had one I made with an injector added, to stream at 1 to 16 Miracid, which lowers PH [ to counteract the very high PH of SH ]
I like tinkering and have made all kinds of gutter canes etc. In the end, it's the KISS philosophy that wins out with me!

Hi Ray
That would work too.
But no, I was saying that I used to tinker with making different gutter canes and I downsized with couplings with smaller pipe for harder shooting streams. I now just use a T on one end and a PVC garden hose connection on the other.
