That looks great, Gary! Hey, do you mind sharing the web address again for that auction company that you used to buy your pressure washer? I lost that one AND the one that Chris Tucker shared that checks multiple craigslists at once.........bummer! That craigslist tool was soooooo easy!

Ritchie Brothers------RBauctions.com. They have their biggest auction for 2012 nexr week in ORLANDO. You can register to bid online. They also have "timed auctions" which is where you will find most pressure washers. You can preview the item and see what you want to bid on.

Don't know about a wrap. I used to do those when i had my photo lab and they are WAY over priced to have somebody print them for you. $1500--$2000 price for something that has less than $150.00 in material.

If anything I'll give it a new paint job. Used to do that also. Back in the 70's I used to do paint and body work as a sideline, making $3k--$4K a month. in my garage at home.

Gary, I think you will like the air pump set up verses using a 12V pump because I can also shoot either from the ground or gutters to the far ridge & peaks.  We don't walk on any roofs.  Note pictures of my air compressor on the rig we built last year which is a twin cylinder 8 HP, electric start on a 60 gal tank.  My unit will operate at 19.5 cfm @ 100 psi, & is 640 #.  I have been very happy with our air pump performance.

Got the pump mounted and all the piping completed today. Was going to do a trial run, but the float stuck in the carb. Tomorrow I'm going to take the carb off and clean it all out. Unit has been sitting for quite a while and probably full of varnish. Ran good when I previewed it, but I put some carb cleaner in the gas and I guess it loosened all the crude up.

I did a large church complex 3 years ago , 2 day job . I brought along a diesel tow behind compressor . It would run a constant 100 psi all day with a capacity of 185 cfm. Now a 1/4 inch air hose wont allow that much cfm thru it but it kept 100 psi all day long at basically an idle . running a 1/2 in pump, What i found was to get more distance you had to increase the nozzle size , I basically used a garden hose sprayer and was able to get 40 ft , but it was putting out a lot of gpm , great on the big jobs ,over kill for residential . Best thing was it would only burn 3 gallons of fuel and was much quieter than the 5 hp briggs I had.

Well I ran into a slight problem with the carb. yesterday. Took it apart and removed about 1/4 teasoon full of very fine sand. Cleaned it and put it all back together and re-mounted it. Ran fine for about an hour and then started flooding out again. Took it apart only to find the float stuck tight.  I then went and did some research on the net. Read several articles about the same problem others are having. The float in this card is some type of hard foam, which does NOT like the new gas and causes the float to swell up and stick. Going to try and find a metal float monday, or sand some off this one and ecapulsate it in epoxy. It WILL get fixed next week. Oh well, its going to rain all week-end anyhow. Might be a very wet Super Bowl.  I'm only 135 miles from it. no

Everything is fixed and I'm done.!!

Took the carb apart (again) and sanded down the float and then coated it in super glue. Several articles I found said that worked great, so I tried it. Ran it about 2 hours today and it is running great.biggrin

Hooked the pump up and gave it a trial run. I'm happy with the results, especially doing it the way I did it. 90 lbs of air, 85' of hose still wrapped around the mounts on the trailer, and it shot 53'. If I was shooting onto a hard surface (roof) It would probably splash another 6-8' which should reach anything I come up against. I can turn the pressure up to 120 psi and it may go further. I will play some more tomorrow. Got a party to go to.noashamed  The pump only cycles about every 6-8 seconds with the ball valve wide open.. Pumps like a crazy.

Installed a new pressure regulator and a couple new guages last nite. Now I'll feel a little safer running the pressure up to 120psi. If the temp would get back into the 50's I would do another test shot and see if I can get over 60'. Too dam cold at present.
