I'll definately give my opinion once I've seen enough evidence to make a call either way. Now if I could only decide which hose to put on my new reels. Ha

Getting the most longevity out of equipment that costs that much is important for sure, a few extra minutes to reel off and then taking time to rinse hoses seems like a small price in comparison. I can't wait for spring so I can unveil my new box truck set up, it's still under construction but I'm itching to go. I'm definately going with stainless hose reels and pray they last forever.

Would like to see the new set-up any picts. yet!!!

I bypassed my titan, the elec power button failed today. I blew the hose out with water back in my mix tank. I like all of the hose being out so far, but the last two days I needed all that I could get.

I keep a heavy duty paperclip in my ash tray for hose reel electrical problems like that.  Disconnect the hose reel hot from the battery, wrap the clip around the terminals of the elec power button or across the terminals of the breaker relay, & reconnect the battery in case either fail.  It will get you by till you get your hose wound up.  Do not touch the paper clip afterwards till it cools down.

I also run breaker switches to my elec roof cleaning pumps and have had to jumper them also in a pinch.

That is a tip worth keeping, I wonder if the elec was worth the money and hassle. The motor kept running, I was concerned that it was going to burn up. I disconnected it from the battery at the job, ordered a new button yesterday.

Unusual that the motor kept running as those switches are open pole switches and do not make contact till pressed.  Maybe you had corrosion on the switch terminals which shorted them.

I also have an electric hose reel on my 500' pressure washing hose.  I can quarantee you that electric is worth the money and hassle when you have to wind that much hose up several times a day.  It is much faster and less tiring which translates into $$$ because it allows you to clean at least one more house or roof a day.
