I'm officially packing it in for the season today. I quite my job about a year ago and went all in with the pressure washing/roof cleaning business and considering I won't be on careerbuilder.com and will be back at it next year, I have to consider my first year a successful one.
I knew nothing about SEO or roof cleaning 8 months ago, and I wouldn't have made it without this website & your support. I don't want to individually list the people that have helped me, you know who you are, and a lot of the help came from the faceless guests that asked the (now looking back on it) stupid questions that I was afraid to ask.
I'm gonna be upgrading my existing trailer, starting a new one, and concentrating on my snow removal business this winter. Also, I'm looking forward on spending some much deserved time with my son.
Mike I'm right behind you, I just picked up two more and hoping to get em done before it's to late." let it snow? " How about let it snow only in Chester P.A. I think I have had it with snow and we didn't even get any yet.
I'm thinkin of opening up for the winter a so called tanning salon/bar/gentlemans club whereas its just a big room with sand covered floors, sun lamps overhead, potted palm trees, buried kiddie pools, sun umbrellas and hot college girls serving up drinks to us northern guys in skimpy bikinis.
I'm thinkin theres a market for this
Oh, and any women under 28 can tan for free.... in front of us
just thinkin outside the box

Mike,
Don't be scared of the cold. I was cleaning at 8:00 this morning and it was 34 degrees. The roof looked perfect when we were done. Experiment and see how you can extend your season. The only thing that will stop me is that I don't have a temperature controlled storage facility. When it is below freezing for an extended period of time, I will be done until the temperature creeps back up again. There are ways to clean when it is cold.
Brian

thanks Brian ... every time I try packing it in, something comes up ... I don't have any roofs lined up but have some commercial flatwork next week and 2 houses this weekend
this is huge for me, I figured nov 1 at the latest but nov was my best month this season and I'm still rolling
i keep my equipment in a non temperature controlled facility so I'm in the same situation as you
hope your doing good, if you ever want to grab lunch let me know
