I use it to rinse my outboard motor and wave runners after each use in the saltwater. The cup on the applicator is too small if you plan on using it to wash landscaping unless you are planning on doing a final once over then quick rinse after the job is done.

The container possibly could be replaced but it might be an odd size plus there is an o-ring with the cap. It would be great to rinse off the equipment with. I was having an overheating problem with my 2000 Yamaha V-Max a few years ago and someone suggested rinsing with salt away. I changed the thermostats and rinsed/repeat a half dozen times over a weekend with Salt Away and it solved my problem.

I used to use that product on when I was Clearwater Fl years ago working for an HVAC company. We would use it for cleaning condersor coils and the units to keep them from getting eaten away by salt. It was great add on sale. Think we charged like 100-150 per unit. The stuff works.

Couldn't you down stream it with a pressure washer? Or mix up a couple of 5's drop your pick up line in it & spray everything down?

It looks interesting, perhaps mixed with a chlorine neutralizer, it will work even better for cleaning roofs in Tampa ?

It would sure be useful to any roof cleaner to be able to render run off harmless!

Chris...I don't think it needs to be mixed with a neutralizer because from what I read, it is a neutralizer. I think a few ounces mixid in with water when rinsing out pumps at the end of the day could prolong the life of the equipment. I have been running a half cup of Dawn and 5 gallons of water through my lines. Seems like a few ounces of this stuff mixed with water in a pump sprayer might also be beneficial to wash down trailers and bed of pickups to neutralize spilled SH.

Gary..that's expensive per gallon but looks like it goes a long way. Any word if they might become a paid vendor?

I think it is a Salt Neutralizer, not a Chlorine Neutralizer

Better yet...leave this here and wait until this has been tested. Than post that the results are in and can be seen on the premium side. There has to be SOME kind of content on the open side.

To a visitor and potential new member, it would be like walking into a store with nothing on the shelves.

Good idea Gary. Also, just breifly, could you talk about freezing tempetures and equipment? We actually get "hard" freezes here in North Florida and tempetures actually drop down to the teens some nights and warm back up to the 50's the next day.
