My experience is that cutomers enjoy unfiltered dilogue. This thread shows dedicated roof cleaners weeding out potentially unscrupulous roof cleaning contractors. If they're on the take here, what will happen when the face the scent on money? That God for guys like Pat. If the skin aint tough enough to pass a few minor gauntlets, they may not be cut out for this biz anyway.

well i got a new enclosed trailer , added a new mower, a new trencher for irrigation, some shirts and then got a setup from bob at pressure tek. He helped me out with pretty much all the questions I had ,he is a good guy and seems like he enjoys the business
I hate to give you bad news , If you use a trencher for irrigation you are starting out 25 years behind the times . Maryland is vibratory plow territory , trenching is slow , and messy and unprofessional .NOT 1 COMPANY HAS SUCCEDED IN BUSINESS TRENCHING IRRIGATION IN Md . My brother has been in irrigation for 30 years , I have helped him on quite a few systems over the years , and he helps me or we trade off employees when necessary . You say you have done your reasearch ,look a bit harded ,I found 3 suppliers of SH near Ocean city while I was on vacation in april for 3 days .
I am not 45 , I am 49 " I have never lost a job , cause I have never had a job"
keep your 100 bucks , you will need it for irrigation , you still need a valve locator , $1000.00 , air compressor $ 4 to 5 thousand (used) a missile $ 2000 (used) underground insurance ( expensive) , and Md home improvement license $600 approx.
I came on to this forum about a year and a half ago. At that time it was not a paid forum. After reading every post and using the serch tab, I bought a trailer, equiped it and started cleaning roofs. At that time I do not believe I had more that one or to post. I'm not one to get into chatting on a forum. I do believe in the basics of this forum and that is sharing information that will help a fellow roof cleaner. When a paid premium membership was offered I was more than happy to pay $100 for the information that I had been freely given, and the opportunity to gain even more knowledge regarding roof cleaning. An investment of $100 to be a premium member of this forum is as important or more important than what you spend on your equipment or SH. I have made my $100 back 100+ times over. I have not given back to this forum like many of the premium members have, however I plan to work a little harder to take the time to do so. This thread got a little political, but I guess at times thats the way it goes.......Back to the Newbie that started this thread........just about everything you need to know about roof cleaning can be found by using the search tab. If you have progressed to the point that you can not find the answer that you are looking for in regards to roof cleaning then you might want to pay $100 to become a premium member and you will find your answer there. By the way, if you are thinking about buying bulk SH keep in mind it does have a shelf life.

There is nothing wrong for charging for education, the education and information offered here is second to none. To ask for a small amount of money for the back side is not out of line. Maybe who, when and how, should be posted and consistent, so the board stays postive.
