gonna be working on a new rig this winter (avoiding the tax man) and i just wanted to see if you guys could start from scratch what you would do. i'm debating whether to add a hot water skid (i have one on my current trailer) or just getting a portable one. currently my trailer is single axle so i was thinking about making that just a softwash setup, but having a portable pressure washer on it, and moving the skid to a double axle trailer. anyway, if you guys could start from scratch, what would you do. i want both rigs to be able to handle anything residential, but the double axle i plan to use it for a lot of commercial pressure washing work.
I starting from scratch again. Going with the box truck. I want everything on one truck. Get the job done in one shot. Maximize the sale and finish, no returning. Even considering an ro system for windows.
I have a hot water skid in an enclosed trailer with a little 5850 roof cleaning rig,
My other softwash rig is on a flat bed 1 axle also. Im thinking about just adding a portable pressure cold water unit to the flat bed , this way I can do decks, fences or anthing else other than flat work, well i gueess I could still do flat work with cold water unit, just much easier with hot water. I will have 2 running rigs for just about anything. I would add a hotwater unit, but for now, theres just not much money in flat work ...
every tom dick and harry has a store boughten power washer and they think they can clean anything with it. It's amazing
