We did a barn once also filled with bats and spiders. We used a sulfer bomb to clear it out first and it worked very well. Came back the next day and it was good to go.

 What is a sulfer bomb and where do you get one Ed?  Homeland Security?

We like to use a flash bang grenade to clear out all bats. No, seriously every fall and spring we get slammed with residential and little commercial and in the summer we get a lot (not slammed) of commercial?? Every market is different but if you do really good work market yourself correctly and financially efficeintly and be prompt on quotes you will have work every week, referrals... referrals... referrals... is a big part of how I stay busy and I make a friendly relationship with every customer if it gets slow to where it is dead then fill up the gas tank and go door to door on commercial. What is the worst that can happen, they will say no... but do it a lot and it will pay off in big $$ jobs don't sell short, be firm on prices.
