If the area you are in is crawl space construction consider replacing your customer foundation vents with "temp-vents". They are automatic foundation vents that operate on a metal coil like the thermostat in your car. The vents fully open automatically at 70 degrees and close at 40 degrees. Easy to install, they fit standard vent openings. Excellent markup, they cost about $25 each and you typically charge $125 each to install. Usually takes about 20 minutes to install each one. Typical house has 8 vents. I use to put a ton of these things in when I lived in VA. Most crawl space homes also need a vapor barrier installed over the dirt. Poly for the job runs less than $100, takes about an hour, I use to get around $450 for them

I want one of those for my house cleaning.. real tools, not the suzy homemaker BS model! But that is a really great idea as many HO are into deep cleaning when they have little ones running around. Tile is everywhere in FL. Thanks for the tip. Kim R
does anybody do the KEC thing? also I'm bidding on a contract to plow 14 dunkin doughnuts, i'd be lying if i said i knew what i was doing, if anybody does plow commercial send me a PM!!!!
How do you keep your crews busy in these cooler months?
crews...what crews? You can hire students as seasonal and then the classes keep them busy in the winter months.
In all seriousness, my dream is to save up for a sirocco monster vacuuming pw reclaim system and do interiors (tile, underground parking etc). For now, I paint, deliver newspapers, and donate plasma in the winter months ;)
