wow now i'm confused. i'm always dealing with hard water spots on glass. now people are saying soft water leave salt streaks. maybe a squeegee is the only solution???
Spot on, Kim. heheh! Softened water is more aggressive than unsoftened water because it contains salt and like you said, it will leave a film, spots, or cloudiness on slick surfaces, if you use it.
Based on my own experience, rinsing with unsoftened water didn't help. When I was washing vehicles in OKC the only solution I found was to use DI water to rinse.
deionized water is the best for washing windows but you can use a rinse aid for fleet washing then blow the water off with a leaf blower
