Clyde I'm glad you got your moneys worth, but you did do the entire week, we just had the weekend.

3 guys go to a class and 2 want a refund, that speaks for itself.

If I offended you in any way I apologize, it was not my intention.

I took Joe's class in Tampa and while I still haven't received the rest of what he said we would get, I still felt that the class was valuable and would see great value in taking a class for several days with him. My only obvious gripe is that there was supposed to be another webinar to touch on what we didn't get to cover and some other materials that were supposed to be supplied to us, but I'm not bent out of shape about it.

Either way, we spent only 1 day and thought it was well worth it, and probably the best class attended in Tampa, so I find it hard to believe that an entire weekend was a waste..

Shawn I don't know why you wanted to bring this to PWI, but here are my resposes to Clyde.

my name is Clyde Sampsel the owner of H20 Powerwashing NJ. I participated in same class same day, same location. I sat next to you and Jim and I am disturbed of the comments you Garden State House Wash and Roof Cleaning are making here, so I will tell everyone my side of the of the story to the best of my ability.

Joe since you won't return my calls or answer my emails, heres a copy of the last email I sent you, and as you already know Jim F wants his money back too.

Why won't Joe return calls or emails?

Joe,
I am requesting a full refund for the class you offered. The class was not as you advertised and was of no value to me. You did not provide the materials advertised, marketing material, contracts, the hundreds of before and after pictures, etc
At the opening of the Class Joe asked each person, why did you come here, and you said " I don't know I just wanted to check out the class", then you said you wanted to learn how to clean grocery store coolers, well in all the discription of the course I seen it clearly did not say any where that this topic was included?, and as far as the advertising material, marketing, and etc was going to be mailed out on CD disc.

And for the concern of Jim, he came to the class to learn how to clean residential floors, again the course discription never said anything about cleaning residential floors, so I asked my self why either one of you came.

I spoke with Joe extensively prior to the class and he knew exactly why I was there and what I wanted to learn, he assured me he would cover this fully, and where are the materials? Oh yeah he kept leaving them at your house Clyde, I guess he crashed there while he was in NJ? Where are the materials it's been weeks I paid $899 and this guy can't come up with a copy of a CD?

The sales information was basic common sense, not the insight of an industry expert and the hands on training was nonexistent and never occurred.
No hands on training? Joe gave you guys two options. option one) we can clean the entire restaurant kitchen where the meeting was held at 10:00 pm or we can clean a part of it now which was around 8:00 PM and you and the other guy opted for the early time because you didnt want to stay late, and even at the time of the cleaning you had no desire to pay attention you and the other guy was involved with other things. again I thought to my self why you even bothered comming to this class,

Hands on training with the equipment! I thought he would have equipment there, he had your dual Nikro system with a vacuum surfacer. If you recall he said he couldn't discuss your system because of his "agreement with Jerry from Scirocco" which from what I'm hearing doesn't exist. I know how to use a surface cleaner I been doing this 10 years. The systems he described was nothing close to what you had, none of the filters etc.

The kitchen demo was a joke, you were outside with the equipment turning the vac and pw on off so how you can even comment on what was going on inside? Joe didn't want to do the whole floor because he was pissed at the hotel manager and big deal you run a surface cleaner over the middle of the floor. Why didn't he show us the prep required to protect the different areas, walls, thresholds etc? When and how do you add the dye? I wanted to leave because it was a further waste of time.

The lack of professionalism displayed by the constant insults of others in the industry and your frequent checking of your ebay auction were distracting and a waste of time.
I have no clue what your even talking about on this one, Joe was browsing the internet for class related things,

I don't recall Joe insulting anyone, on the other hand I clearly remember you personally insulting me and my company shirt I was wearing, remember you told me I should burn my shirts?

Let's see how about the pictures of him dressed up as AC with the hat? Do you really want me to go on about the others? I apologize about the shirts but advertising $250.00 roof cleaning in a market like ours where customers don't even know what roof cleaning is sends the wrong message. This isn't Florida where roof cleaning has been around a long time we need to educate poeple on the correct methods and what we can do not bait and switch prices.

to be honest with you I didnt even feel comfortable being in that class because you was acting all arogant while carrying a chip on your shoulder.

I'm sorry that the pictures I posted on RCIA of that demo at a customers house with the ruined driveway and aweful section of cleaned roof turned out to be you, I had no idea who it was. I'm sure this may have added to your discomfort and again I apologize. http://roof-cleaning-institute.activ...4338/bad-demo/

The demo of the kitchen floor cleaning was worthless and even the next day it was virtually impossible to detect that the floor was even clean.
the biggest reason is that because the grout was black and it didn't show a big contrast after the cleaning.

I know as Joe said he never saw black grout before, give me a break.

The ‘field trip’ was a further waste of time as we couldn’t enter one establishment as you had ‘pissed off’ the owner the day prior. Your story of another general manager at a different establishment throwing you out also the day prior, shows very little evidence that this is a service these establishments would even use.
The fact that I had to drive you and the other participants on the ‘field trip’ as you had no vehicle and made no provisions for transportation further demonstrate the disorganized, unprofessional nature of the class and its lack of value.
I was with Joe, and we didn't get thrown out of any restaurant, that was just a figure of speech and you knew that before you expanded on it.

A figure of speech? The general manager finally showed up after we tricked the rest of the staff into letting us in and threw us out, that's no figure of speech! What about the guy at the place in the mall? We couldn't even step foot in there, we had to stand outside the entrance looking in. I was embarrasssed for Joe and talk about uncomfortable!

You had to drive the participates on the field trip lol. It was a whole half mile down the road we could of all walked, and besides Joe said you guys can meet him there or we all can drive together.
And you failed to mention that Joe took us to Chili restaurant and bought us lunch while discussing all the cleaning possibilities there at that particular store and not to mention all the stores at the mall

The distance is not the point, when I pay $899 for a class I expect a professional program, written materials, a guide something, but all we got were promises of a CD which still hasn't arrived. I could give a shit about driving but it was just another example of how unprofessional this whole thing was.

I respectfully ask that you provide a full refund.
I clearly remember Joe asking you over half dozen of times, what can I do to help you, and please ask me more questions, and are you getting information and you was content.
so with all this being said I'm really deeply agitated at how you could try to attempt to discredit Joe on this board and ask for you money back.
I must say you are a idiot for this fabricated (non-sense post that you put up just so you can try to get a refund! you should be ashamed of your-self!
I edited this post a couple of times, I personally think Joe is a great guy, he goes completely out of his way to help you, he ask you over and over if you understand everything, I am just so disturbed how Garden State could post this non-sense, It's people like him that makes people not want to help others any more.

I understand Joe is your friend and I never said he wasn't a good guy, he just hasn't figured out how to do a good weekend program. You can call me an idiot and you're right I'm an idiot for giving Joe $899.  I also want to say that the next guy who wants to 'help' me and charge me $899 can keep on walking.

Greetings:

Some of you guys know me, I am the restaurant cleaner / soft wash, big project guy. Some of us have met at the Tampa RT, and some of you guys have taken my interior class.

I teach interiors , polymeric commercial roof cleaning and mentor entrepreneurs on growing, managing and perfecting their business. I help newbie’s become pros and pros become elite in their markets.

My background is primarily commercial with special emphases on the restaurant markets, specialized industrial projects, and large commercial projects.

No, I do not have a website, just a reputation, although my friend Chris certainly does recommend I get one ASAP!

I help guys learn to sell, my way, with a smile and a laugh.

And far from a hands off business owner, when I am around home I am out there washing buildings and cleaning carpets as well.

I do thank you Shawn for your flattering words, I hope that I made a difference for you indeed. As Shawn said I show you guys how to get to the decision makers, how to recognize the need, and separate the want of purchasers. I teach a fundamental principal for sales as I see it, some of you guys have heard me say it many times:

BE A SALES MIND – NOT A SALES MAN

KNOW THESE PRINCIPALS-------àWHO – WHY – WHEN----à

I HOPE IN THE FUTURE THAT WE CAN ALL MEET AND BREAK BREAD.

I never said Joe wasn't a good guy or knowledgable, but really 'give him his space' and 'help some peope along the way'.

In what world does helping people mean taking their hard earned money and not delivering on what you promise?

Here's my first email to Joe and his response.  Have I given him enough 'space' from August 20th to now?  Is it not obvious that he knows he didn't deliver?

Is this the type of customer service any of you would provide to customers?  That's rhetorical, of course you wouldn't.

Where's Joe? Where are the class materials?  Where's the solution he was going to come up with?

I would have never posted any of this stuff if Joe had taken care of this as he said he would, his lack of response is indefensable.

Joe,

I’m just now getting a chance to contact you regarding last weekend.  I have to say that I am extremely disappointed with the class you offered.  With all due respect you seem like a good guy and very knowledgeable but you were disorganized, unprepared and you continued to go off point and lose focus.

The kitchen demo was pretty much worthless as there was virtually no evidence that the process was even effective, (although the concrete looked great).

I would have liked to see more hands on work with different surfaces and equipment, more instruction on avoiding trouble spots, bleed back, etc.  More direction on marketing methods and effective sales strategies.  I was also surprised you never contacted me to take a look at the Outback we discussed.

I got the feeling you just threw this together to make a few extra bucks while you were here in NJ.  You had a field trip planned but had no transportation lined up, believe me I didn’t mind driving but that just screams unprofessional to me.  I hope you take this feedback in the spirit in which it’s intended, if this is what you’re offering for $899 you are going to have a lot of unhappy people.  I had a chance to speak with Jim and I know he’ll be contacting you as well, his feelings are not much different than mine.

John,

Being one that has been chewed to death on these forums I just feel this is not the place to air out your problem. In fact I have had conversations with local authorities and what sometimes goes on within these forums can be defined as cyber stalking.

I don’t think it is in your best interest to use the forums to force Joe to comply or not comply. In fact that is what the courts are for. If you feel you have been wronged then file a suit against Joe. However don’t carry on about it on the WWW you may get in trouble for mishandling this and then where are you.

I don’t know anything about you and Joe's dealings except what I have seen here and over at PWI.  I have and will not take sides. I do think this can be handled more professionally and put to rest in a way that is industry building.

I remember one day Chris Jerico ripped my company a new one Nation wide on the Bubba the Love Sponge show. He was upset the company that offered to put in a new spa controler in his outdoor spa wasnt returning his phone calls and was avoiding him.  After he embarrased this guy and my company Nation wide we found out the spa guy had a heart attack and was in the hospital.

Not to say Joe has been in the hospital, lol, but I am saying we should give eachother the same measure of grace we would like given to ourselves.

BTW Chris Jerico and I settled up in a tables, chains and chairs, cage match. He won.

disorganized, lol. Joe is very organized. Joe rented a nice room in a hotel, he had the overhead screen going with powerpont. Joe speaks well and he knows what he is talking about.

This was a small class of 3 which I was included you had the opportunity to learn but you chose not to, What burns me about you Is that Joe repeatedly and I mean repeatedly asked you over and over what do you guys want to learn and ask me questions.

I remember you saying over and over that this kitchen cleaning isn't for you, because you felt that it would be to much work getting jobs and the profit wasn't high enough for you.

so I ask you if the class was so bad and it wasn't for you why did you bother comming back the second day?

How come you didn't tell Joe during the class that you was very disappointed and that you wanted your money back, I sure would of. Instead you wait till you get home and complain.

and as far as the hands on training, you guys were not interested in learning, the other guy came to the class to learn how to clean residential floors lol, he could of taking that class at Jondon for a fraction of the cost lol

If you showed interest and asked Joe would of cleaned two restaurant kitchen.

I was at this class and I know first hand what happened and I'm not going to stand here and allow you to slander Joe.

I know part if not this whole class was recorded lol, I can't wait to see you sitting there all arogant, mr know it all, angry man that hates the world, repeatedly saying I get the concept, but I'm not interested in ktchen cleaning.

I think you better take AC advise and quit slandering Joe on this

forum board.

The class recorded, that's great!!  Have Joe put the entire class up here both days fully recorded that would prove my point!!

Post the entire 2 days, not edited by anyone just the raw audio/video and let people decide on their own.

Will it include all the talk about the 'arrangement' with Jerry from Scirocco?

Will we finally find out who the mystery vendors who were supposedly watching us live were?

Will it include the Joe's opinions of NCE?

Will it include Joe's offer to come meet me the following Monday at my friends Outback Steakhouse to look through the kitchen with me?  I hope so, because Joe was supposed to call me to let me know the time he was coming but he never did.

Will it include the conversation about the 'secret, 5 guys' who were supposed to be there but cancelled at the last minute?

Will it include us standing in the mall like idiots unable to enter that one store?

Will it include Joe telling us that another guy in NJ was doing a week with him?  I talked to that guy he couldn't make the weekend, so he told Joe never mind and wasn't interested, period, never intended to attend or discussed the week long program.

Will it include Joe blaming me because I didn't have a thumb drive with me to download the materials he kept forgetting at your house?

Will it include all the times Joe was checking his Ebay auction for his wine racks?

The powerpoint was made for him for the 4 hour Tampa program, it's not a 2 day program.  I talked to the guy who made it for him!

I came back the second day to see if the kitchen floor really got clean, I hope there's video of that!  Oh yeah the black grout I forgot, that's why you couldn't tell if it was cleaned.

Nice hotel?  The tension between Joe and the manager was uncomfortable, will the video include Joe's side conversation with the manager in the kitchen the next morning?

Post the entire 2 days, not edited by anyone just the raw audio/video and let people decide on their own.

I would love to see it, not some edited clips here and there but the whole 'experience'.  Lets see theentire unedited audio/video right here that would be great!

I'm amazed Joe won't speak for himself here.

dude you got issues, your a nut case! wow

I mean the class was held on a Saturday and Sunday, you didn't pay for a airline ticket, rent-a-car or a hotel room, you drove about 20 minutes oneway now you can't tell me you didn't learn anything but yet you continue to spend hours on this forum complaining, heck according to you you make about the price of the course in a half day.

im going to be honest this should all be behind closed doors with emails and phone calls. Joe sounds like a stand up guy and i would think he will resolve this if done in the right manner. And thats all i have to say about that.(forrest)
