After nearly completing my 1st youtube video, I came across Bruce's from Sullivan and realized that I had to start from scratch.
That was arguably the best roof cleaning video I've seen ... does anybody know how quick the search engines pick up on that content and how it rates compared to facebook, blogspot and this forum?
I originally just had a brief 10 second introduction, maybe 30 seconds of before and after pics, then a 10 second closing.
After seeing Bruce, aka the Justin Bieber of youtube roof cleaning, I've decided to take a different approach and go more with an educational video as opposed to the before and after pics.
Is this the general consensus of how our youtube vids should progress?
I think Bruce has a great video where he is sitting behind the desk and another when he is by his truck. I think you should have a couple mix it up a bit.
The potential customer reviews has been very positive, moreso, the cedar shakes one. In every case it closed the deal for me. I am going to do one for asphalt also.
Video's are the way to go as long as there are more educational and not just sales. In todays world people like to watch not read.
I agree, Mike. I've said it elsewhere here. When it comes to explaining the process to the customer, it's hard to beat Bruce's approach. It's excellent.
Bruce, you come off very professional in your videos. I see alot of goofy cleaning videos with bad music and no professionalism at all (no offense to anybody that's had some fun with the video camera). I vote for the educational approach.

Justin Beeber prays every night that he looks as good as Bruce when he gets past 60 or so.
