Worth it to create another website strictly for commercial business?

Guys, I am looking to get into more commercial work, but feel like my website has a lot going on. I was thinking of creating a separate website strictly for commercial business, is this a reasonable idea?

Would it be wise to create a separate business strictly for the commercial side? Can I use a different business name with the same Tax ID, like a different division of one company? Sorry for the newbie questions, I may need to ask my accountant, but figured I would pick your brains too.

It depends on how competitive your area is for those search terms. I would say no, simply make a commercial page on your existing website or Blog, and target those keywords on that page.

I would say make a different web site and create a seperate DBA, so many reasons to do so, first be identity, be known for both things, but not linked, makes a difference.

I believe that commercial clients have more faith in a solid commercial only company, over a dual purpose do all sorta guy, EVEN though you will continue to do both.

Joe does way more commercial then I do, so I would take his advice over mine. He deals with commercial buyers, and knows what they are looking for. My roof cleaning business is mainly high end residential, with an occassional commercial job, every now and then.
