Ok so in the Northeast  it becoming more and more common to find solar panels on one side of a roof. As I was driving by a future potential clients house yesterday thinking how I would clean the front half it dawned on me if I shot it all from the gutter it gonna go over and hit the panels. Cape Cod with very steep pitch.

I am new to roof cleaning and was wondering if the chems are going to harm the panels or wiring??

I know tsp can etch glass so I guess I can't use that. Any thoughts

there is no need to use tsp anyway. It is really bad for the enviroment and does not improve the results. What i have done is spray from the gutter and then go to the back and rinse the panels down with water. Its pretty easy.

I would agree, I wouldn't think it's any different than getting solution On sky lights, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I've cleaned roofs with solar panels, just rinse afterwords you will be fine...
