My Son is out of the hospital! I came back from the Tampa Roundtable last night, and he was home! His Girl came to the hospital and got him when he was released. He is all bandaged up, and will have a really nasty scar from the surgery. Cultures revealed the infection he got from the Bird Bite was a common one Birds carry. It is Lawsuit Time!

I doubt you will recoup the $ from this... Loss of help, medical bills, lawyer fees, court costs, & you are going up against an insurance company... That is if the home owner has insurance... Good luck recouping from this Chris. I hope you can still handle the heat and do the work your self in the meantime while you find another helper. Can you imagine the time you will have to spend in the court room fighting this. It will take a long time before you might see any $.

I would think the homeowner would just file the claim and the ins co would pay any provable loss without problem?

Of course, if they refuse to file a claim, it may get complicated, but I think you will win easily!

Did you get a bunch of pictures of the injury?
