I too have had slow service and lost orders with Lori.
Now I am being double billed for invoices dating back to June 2010.
Lori already "took it to court" by throwing it on my credit card she had on file and after over a months investigation, lost in the dispute.
I know she has some loyal customers like Aaron [ who lives right in town with her ] and that's nice of him to be loyal. However, the rest of us should not be told to shut up about our experiences with her!
If you have good things to say about her, say them! If bad, all should be put on the scales to weigh.
Many of you know, during the time she was about to be banned, I stuck up for her publicly, based on my experience with her up to that point. I also voted her back in when she was banned. I have also recommended her to MANY others! So, I have the right to post how I feel now about her.
I think there should be a simple list of vendors, listed alphabetically, with no favoritism to any one of them. If one is great, we can say so. If one sucks, we can say that too.
Remember when Lori posted a 5.5 gpm pump and Chris T and others had questions? All anyone got was a "HA HA HA" for a reply. That's not professionalism-it's just rude.
I am not going to argue with any of her loyal followers. I'm sure she is great for some people, as she was for me, for a while.

Even lowballers come through once in a while with a cut throat price and produce a good service.  Once in another while others get screwed royally.  I'm not writing this in anger.  Im past that part.  I would not want any of you guys to go through what I just went through.  Your welcome.

Your point on "Lowballers" is also very valid!

We hate lowballers competing with us, but jump on the bandwagon with businesses like hers.

I just went through the "Dispute" as you are doing myself.

As far as surficant I been old schooling it this year. Since I got the laramine. Used that up. There is a difference at PWP. Compared to last year. I'll continue to get there fragrance. Untill that gets messed up. Their service last year was awesome. This year not so much, but I still have hope.

In reply, all I can say is: Exactly. And sorry about that! I was their Koolaid Drinker and believed in them. You were not the only one I spoke up to in her behalf.

She always seemed so nice on the phone and the lowball pricing "seemed" great!

Until double billing started. The sometimes forgotten orders etc I could live with.

I have learned my lesson.

CAN Lori get into the Premium Section to defend herself guys, and is she aware of this thread ?  If so, one can only wonder why she is so silent ?  Of course, she runs her business as she sees fit, and may feel she is 'taking the high road' here ?

I guess I am different, if any of my customers were publicly unhappy, I would respond publicly, and do whatever it takes to make them happy.

I agree Chris. Yet, she remains silent. Just like when she posted that new 5.5gpm pump and you asked what the insides were made of and another member asked about warranty and I said I'd buy one a nd try it. NO REPLY.

Not defending yourself is not the high road, if you have a defence. I think it's just a lack of defence and or laziness?

"Some" RCIA customers are clearly very unhappy and she doesn't seem to give a hoot? She has some who are always on her side [ I used to be one of them ] and defend her by telling those with complaints to just shut up, { If you don't want to buy from her, buy elsewhere } but I noticed that the most adamant, live right near her. I imagine, if you lived nearby and could walk in the door, order, pay and take your stuff away, you would be happy!

As to her lost or forgotten orders, that many complain about, I lived with that and said nothing but good things about her. But this double billing, that goes way back to June 2010 that has made me give up on her. { It started with 4 invoices she wasn't "sure about" and ended with 2. She can't find anything in her computer that shows "paid" through the 2 credit cards she has of mine in her computer. However, I have many credit cards and when one has a 3% back promo etc, I use that for a purchace. Also, I paid her dad in cash or checks when he delivered here a few times. The first mention of unpaid invoices was in Nov 2010 and one invoice was from June 2010.

I have all of our emails, which I had to supply to the credit card company, because when I told her I had paid for every order immediately, she just threw the 2 bills onto my Amex card she had on file, without my permission. I opened a dispute, we both supplied the credit card company with what we had for proof and she lost-they put the $ back in my acct. In all honesty, I don't think she is trying to rob me. I think it is just what she said the problem came from. Here is one of her first emails to me

Could you please double check that invoice 101979 was paid for $107.02 around 6/23/10(It looks like it was but the program we use makes errors.......costly errors) and 102171 for $113.46 around 7/12/10 and 103121 for $272.55 around 10/11/10.  I am unsure if 101979 was paid or not.  That is really the only one that I am worried about.  Other than that one, I think that 102171 and 103121 need to be paid.  This invoicing program sucks.  It is part of the problem...
 
Did we get your son squared away with an exchange?  I set it out for my Dad several weeks ago.

The thing about my son was, he bought a "FAT BOY" on Ebay and it was from PWP. Instead of a real Fatboy, he got an aftermarket similar pump. It quit on the 2nd job he did. Rex came here with a delivery for me and fixed it. It ran 1 more time and has never run again. I gave them my son's info, but he never heard from them. That was my son's own business-he has a small side business of his own. So, I stayed out of that mess.

Imagine the gold mine pwp would be with good, fast service and proper billing methods, that don't "suck"? $$$$$$$

If members are happy with her, they are free to post good feedback for her, like I see for Bob often.

If some feel strongly enough that she is dealing badly with them, they should not be censored either, even though her loyal customers here [ like I used to be ] don't like it.

From here on, I will only reply, like I am now. I will not start the topic again, if Lori just leaves me alone, I will do the same!

I have to comment on this statement and not slamming anyone in particular..."If you have problems with PWP, don't buy from them. If you have not had problems with PWP, continue to buy from them." 

Very true statement but I think it also the responsiblity of members to point out unsatisfactory service from ANY vendor so the rest of us do not get screwed like Ed and others have.

Chris, I'd like to suggest setting up a poll with multiple vendors on it with a 0-5 star rating. No comments allowed and put on the public side. I think it would be great indicator of satisfaction/dis-satisfaction of vendors for our members and gusts.

This thread went way further than I imagined. After I posted the F-Rex thread, I cooled off and was embarassed and it showed a lack of class to post such a vulgar title. And yes if you like them, buy from them. Of all the drama that went on in the last year with Lori, I was not influenced 1 bit. All of my experiences have been good so I continued to buy. But this last transaction was more than a nuisance. It had the potential of costing me thousands of dollars in lost revenue. I am lucky to have another fully functional truck and setup. But alot of guys here don't. And if this could happen to me, it could happen to anyone. It would be awful for someone to order supplies that your business depended on, to find out they were never shipped when you were told they were. No ones perfect and it could have been an isolated incident, but there is enough poor feedback to say that if you deal with this company you essentially are rolling the dice in hopes your "good deal" comes thru w/out a hitch.

PWP is definitely a hot button, and it's nice to see you retract your Rex statement, but I don't think you were out of line in the least with this thread.

It may have gone on further than what you intended, but not once did you state anything other than your personal experiences and the facts surrounding them. Your original post to this thread was honest and certainly not malicious and I think it was delivered very professionally, as were the corresponding comments made by myself and the others.

I don't think you should be apologetic in the least for this one.

I don't think there's anything to defend. If their business operated as it always had then the potential will always be there for mishaps. If there computer program sucks, get one that works. Address the payment and order issues. Keep Rex as far away as possible from customer relations. Maybe get professional outside help and realize that a strictly family staff may be your demise.
