just curious to see how you guys would configure ... bob is looking at my pump in the box and when he returns it i'll either sell it or use as a backup, lori from pwp is sending a 5850 and helping with the assembly/equipment. i was thinking about moving the pw horizontal, having the roof pump/battery towards the rear with a reel next to the one i have ... i don't have room for a chem tank so i just use a 55 and set up on site, and plan to install a 3 way valve for a transfer hose
Do you tow the trailer with a pickup truck? I put my roof cleaning setup in the back of my Silverado (100 Gallon Tank, Reel w/ 200' hose, Fatboy and Battery) and it works out well. I'd rather do that than setup on site every time.
With that being said, I don't have experience with equipment on trailers, but my pressure washer setup is similar to yours.

Turn your skid the other way and you will have room for a chem tank. Your taking up too much valuable space the way you have it now.. IMO you just need to tighten it up a bit.
i like the truck setup i havent come across a job to big for this set up.delevan5850 200' hose on titan stack reel with battery in boat battery box pump mounted under the stack so it can breath and a 250gal and 150gal tank works great and not that much money invested other than the truck. i would hate life if i had to set up every day that would really suck.
yeah, i agree with you guys about moving the skid, i'd love to have the roof setup in the back of my pickup however it's my only means of transportation ... i'll post some picks when i get i all figured out.
Mount it in the truck. It makes it really easy, and looks better.
decisions decisions ... i'm only averaging about 3 roofs per week and i'm concerned that if i use a 125 instead of mixing on site i'll have a lot of left over mix ... is it ok to go 3-4 days with the ammo mixed in?
Yes you can leave it. It wont break down much. Keep the tank covered and away from sunlight though while its sitting idle and don't leave it sitting if your using fragrances in your mix. The fragrance will kill it fast.
sounds good, i leave my trailer in a garage and i'll just use any left over for house washing ...can't wait to get it set up, i've been doing things the hard way ... truth is you can read all you want but until you actually get out there and do it you'll never learn ... kinda like college
I like the trk setup and have thought about it, but Sh really rust things out quick, drive shaft, break lines, etc etc etc, thinking about doing a little setup in one of my trks, but for now, will stick with a trailor, I dont know about you guys but i carry way to much stuff for just a trk, We have a hotwater skid in our rig and wands, surface cleaners, chemicals, roof cleaning tanks, 200 ft of chemical hose 200 high pressure, 200 fresh water, I need my trk ( w/topper) just to haul everything. (chems) and tools

SH does eat chit up but if you line it with a quality spray in liner it helps. Rinse the whole thing down after every job and at the end of the day and it will last. You can spray the under side also.

That's a nice hot water skid. How many gpm's? You do alot of commercial work?
5 gpm's ... would've went a different route if i could start all over but the guy (uncle) i worked for and took advice from prior to joining this forum still does roofs with a surface cleaner and uses ladders and telescoping wands on 2 story homes.
fortunately didn't take his advice on most things.
yeah, lot's of commercial work, i'm on the phone all day every day.
hope you're feeling better, are you at robert wood?
I can't see the front part of the trailor. Is it a 10 or 12 ft?
hi Al, it's a 10 ft. i have a 225 tank with the 5 gpm and store my surface cleaner in the bed ... i'm leaning towards moving the pw horizontal and putting the roof setup on the rear of my trailer ... i like the idea of having my roof set up on my truck but i just use the bed for too many other things
