Pricing is relevant to where you are.I would suggest googling some companies in your area and start price shopping. I'm payin $1.05 a gallon here. Was payin $1.50 when I first started but price isn't everything.Make sure you are getting good stuff.

YES, strength and freshness of the roof cleaning chemical is more important then low price!

What good is it to pay 1.00 a gallon, if it is little more then salt water.

Hey SJ saw your website. I think you changed it. Looks good. Diamond already got outbid for four roofs from service magic. Unreal how cheap people are doing roofs for here. The last one we lost equated to approximately .08 cents a square. I don't know how anyone can be that low and still run a business. So anyway we stopped service magic what a bunch of nonsense. Hope someone is having success with them but in our case Door hangars work so much better around here.

Thanks Tom, I know you said you been doing the roof cleaning for awile but if I can help in anyway shoot me an email. See ya around

I will add to that Chris what good is it to pay only .08 cents to get your roof cleaned as you only get a watered down version of a professional roof cleaner.

If Homeowners only knew the difference in what a professional has over the other fly by nighter, it may help educate them as to what to look for and who is looking out for what is in their best interests. Sometimes you just don't get the chance to educate them, which is a shame. Pretty much anyone I know gives estimates for free and why not tap into the time they are willing to give to gain some knowledge and make the right choice based on what they have learned.

Welcome, Tom and Nicholas,

I'm new to RCIA as well.  Being a paid member and becoming certified is a great target, and you'll learn from good people along the way.

As you see new folks enter your area, you'll regret more competition.  I know I will. But Chris has it right here: you can work together and pool resources.  Just look up at the roofs, not at the guy in the rearview.  If he saw you slip, the people here would help you back up.  With the economy the way it is, more competition is an inevitable fact of life.

I know firsthand that the folks here are professionals, and their satisfied customers are going to refer them, time and again.

And when you run into a jam, remember all things are temporary.

Again, welcome to forum.

AL

Enjoy the weekend.
