Id like to give another thanks to RCIA and members.
I did my first test roof washs yesterday morning. I did one of my workers roof and siding, and my fathers roof and siding. It was almost to good to be true. Roofs and siding look great and hasnt rained yet to rinse roof. Nothing got killed or damaged. Couldn't have done it in such ease if it werent for rcia.
The equipment advise I got here, worked out great for me. Had no problems with cycling, overheating, or pressure with the delavan 5850 and 1/2ag hose at 200'
I took before and after pictures of workers roof and siding, but didnt get any on the ol mans place. I will post when I figure out how to do so. The roof is kind of hard to tell in the pics but you can definitly see the renewal of the siding. I have one more roof Im gonna do tommorrow that is really grimy and is gray shingles. So I should get some good before/after pics on that roof for my sales pitch.
I got everything I need now to get up and running, besides im waiting for my bulk sh and ammonyx to come in next week. In the mean time, its time to go sell some service.

Holy cow, Im sorry guys. I didnt mean to leave anyone hangin on these pics. Ive been having a hell of a time. Ive been working on some remodeling, tring to get some revenue back in, tring to sell jobs, turkey hunting, walleye fishing, and tring to get these dam pics on here and nothings working out for me. My camera wouldnt come up on my computer, so I had to borrow my mothers camera, then I didnt have right cord. Somehow I lost the after pics of the first roof, Ill have to get down to guys house again to retake (looks even better now anyway). And then Ill post them. The first pics are my workers siding done with left over mix diluted. The next are before and afters of my ol mans garage. I had my first paying job, friday and turned out great! Ill have to do another post to get pics to fit.
PS my photo skills need improving
1 & 3 are same view... 2 & 4... 5,7, and 9...... and 6 & 8.. if there was any confusion
after pics were taken next day on garage without any rain.... It looks a lot better now after a couple rains besides all the missing granules from 20+ years of exposure.
Thanks
Bill

Here are photos from first paying job. House was surrounded by shrubs, plants, and flawless lawn. (good one for first job huh) Every thing turned out great and nothing was harmed. Im having trouble getting good before pics, the roofs looked a lot worse in person than in pics. I need a better camera or a better operator.
After was done I went to try and sell another cleaning. Stopped at a guys house who was having a deck built. I was chatting with homeowner and the owner of the construction company came out and blew the sale. In front of customer, He asked what I use, I told him a sodium hypochlorite based mixture. Then he said, "I ran a successful roof cleaning company in flordia for 15yrs, that stuffs bad news, kills plants, grass, and bad for customer and pets. This is what you want to use", (then takes my business card out of my hand and writes on it "roof reviver". "This is the only thing to use, it wont kill plants, you can wash your dog with it, and it kicks azz man, you just put it on and pressure wash it off". Then I told him and the customer, How does it kill the algae and moss on roof if it is harmless to plants And how do you fix the roof from all the granules being blowed off from pressure washer?" He said its scientifically designed to only kill roof stuff man and you just "turn down the pressure washer" lol. Anyhow, the apparent loyal customer said he was just going to have the guy replace his roof.
S C O R E
Roof replacer 1---------roof cleaner 1
better luck next time
I wonder what happen to his 15yr roof cleaning company he used to run in Flordia?
Did you guys run him out of business, lol
pics are in order before than after, before than after, etc.

Guy sounded pretty pushy and a big mouth to boot. Makes ya want to fire some "Love " on him. But like you said if it was so successful, then why leave the biz? I am sure you wanted to say plenty, but had to bite your tongue due to the homeowner. Nice job on the roof and siding!!
