SH Help

Just getting started and a premium member here.

Two questions.

1.  I am having a hard time finding a company who can sell me sodium Hypochlorite at a resonable price in the Lynchburg VA area.  Any help would be appriciated.  Univar will deliver but no longer ships to a house only a brick and morter store.  They quoted me about $2.28 a gallon.  Good price?

2.  Mostly tradional asphalt shingles here.  Would a good ratio be 35% SH and add about a 1/2 cup of Ammonxy Lo?

You might want to check with Brett or Ted as they have business there.
They can help you with many things if you ask, I swear they don't bite, well maybe Ted. LOL

Hello,

Im new here also. I had a hell of a time finding sh locally too. (polk, Pa). I did research online and made hours and hours of phone calls with no luck. I thought I was going to have to drive 2hrs to pay 2.00 a gal! Lori at "Pressure Washer Products" even tried a search for me and she said that it was the strangest search she'd even seen and she deals all over the world. She advised me to call all the local pool places so I did and one of them directed me to their source. The company i was directed to hadn't ever come up in any of my searches. I called them and they'll sell me 12.5 sh for $1.80 gal, any other chemical or surfactant, and deliver it once a week for $27 regardless of amount. I was told going rate in flordia was $1.00 - $1.10 gal, but I'm willing to pay $1.80 for the convienence of delivery. If this roof cleaning works out in my area and I can move a lot of sh for them, I'll wrench on them and try to get the price knocked down.

Anyhow, this was my method to find a supplier. Good Luck to you.

-----Bill

i'm outside of philly and pay $2.25 ... we're not anywhere near florida's prices, nobody is, so don't use their pricing as the benchmark ... i'd be ecstatic to only pay $1.80

Maybe a local chemical company can help also, I connected with two chemical guys and they carry SH in 2.5 gallon to 55 gallon pals and never run out. There prices are good and they carry any type of other chemicals you might need.

I pay $38.00 for 15 gallon pony kegs of sh I could get it a bit cheaper by buying 50 gallon drums but the small kegs are easy to transport and take to jobs etc, works good for me. so that is about 2.53 per gallon of sh.
