We got a call about a week ago to bid on Cleaning close to 4000 linear ft of Vinyl Fencing on over 4 acres of land out in Tarpon Springs Florida which used to be a Horse Farm. The owner had it Pressure Washed about 5 yrs ago with just water and needless to say it was pretty green. We explained our method of using a Soft Wash method to kill off all the Mold and Algae and letting the rain rinse off the dead residue. The owner was a bit reluctant and figured that there was no way it would work. You can imagine his surprise when he began seeing the difference as the Green and Black Mold began dissapearing before his eyes. The last company took 2 full days to complete this same job. We were able to complete it in 4 1/2 hrs. He and his wife we so happy, they actually made us lunch and to top it off gave us a $100.00 tip.
This was just one of 3 jobs we did yesterday. The other 2 jobs were a House Wash, Concrete Cleaning and Pool Deck in Dunedin Florida and then another Pool Deck and Enclosure in Seminole FL. It was a long day and we didn't get home until 8:30pm.
Nice work, Larry, as usual! I didn't know you could just walk away without rinsing that, ya learn something new every day. I can see why the customer was thrilled with the work.

Thanks! Actually on smaller fence cleaning jobs we normaly rinse them all down. There was just waaaay too much fencing to be rinsing. As long as you add enough surfactant to your mix, it will reactivate once the rain hits it and remove all the dead residue.
Dave, it was fun for about 10 minutes and then it became work. Haha! Seriously though. It was a bit different and we did have a good time doing it. It also helps when you are doing a job for real nice people.

Nice job Larry! It does look like a fun with your feet on the ground. It sure is easy doing just about anything when the customer is nice and friendly. It makes it easy to go to work!
Thanks guys. And yes it's true, life is sooo much easier when your dealing with great customers. I would have to say though, most all of the customers we Clean for, wheather it's for a Roof Cleaning, Concrete, House Washing etc...they are all usually very nice folks.
What you can't really see in any of the pictures is that there is actually a big pond on the property with fish in it. We had to be extra careful Cleaning the fence around it. It was real windy and it was tough spraying.
You can see part of the Pond/Lake in these 2 Pictures. You can also see the difference in the fence pretty good. We had not sprayed the front yet but all along the inside on the East side of the Fence had been treated already.

aint nothing like a little southern hospitality while your hard at work huh.
WHAT DID YOU DO TO KEEP FROM KILLING THE SURROUNDING GRASS FROM OVERSPRAY?? DID YOU WET IT DOWN BF AND AFTER??
The owner and I discused this in detail and he wasn't at all concerned with the grass. He actually told me that his landscaper/lawn maint company would probably be happy if we burned it up as they would have less trimming to do which we both laughed about.
I had also told him that if we had to lay down tarps or water/rinse that the price would be considerably higher. He basicly told me "Hey, it's grass, it will grow back."
We did however have to take extra care with a row of shrubs and trees that ran along the pond edge that boardered his neighbors property which belonged to the neighbor. For that we ran about 600ft of garden hose and kept everything rinsed down before during and after.
