The big square on the upper left corner was sprayed with Spray and Forget exterior cleaner 2 years ago. The homeowner said it only came as clean as it is now and it took 3-4 months for it to even work that well. The homeowner saw one of our trucks on the road and called for a quote.
Our customer says its no comparison between Confident Roof Cleaning and Spray and Forget. We win hands down when it comes to Roof Cleaning in Kingwood TX. Plus ours comes with a 5 year Warranty!!

They should have called you to begin with Scott. They could have had a clean roof years ago.
I suppose they only did the corner because of the expense of the product? Is spray and f****t copper sulphate?
Gotta wonder why they even bothered if thy weren't going to do the whole roof anyhow.
With that being said:
IF and thats a big IF,...you could set yourself up into selling customers these tiime release methods and be able to make them comfortable enough with the method to pay you before you leave the property, that would be a great oportunity to set yourself apart from us "chlorine cowboys"
I believe there probably is a small market targeting those who are set against SH. Big advantage(s) of Copper Sulphate,..it doesn't smell,..and will possibly have a better longevity than SH,. for the same reasons CH outlasts SH.,.and not near as corrosive as SH.
Copper Sulphate is expensive and it doesn't dissolve well,.but it will at least completely dissolve,.it's also deadly to vegetation and fish ponds,..but so is SH.
I have actually thought of giving any skeptical customers the option of a "chemical" free cleaning,..I probably would have by now,..BUT,..I RARELY get anyone even ask what I use,..they don't care,..they just want it done,Ha,Ha..
At this point it would be more of a pain trying to offer two different chemicals,..incompatibilty would cause for the need of separate tank,..no big deal if th space is there.
But if it were more of an issue,..I'd at least offer it and give them a choice to make. Then it would be on them to choose.
Hey Chris,..I'm not sure about spay and f****t,..but pure copper sulphate works well for roof cleaning,..aside from the speed of cleaning.
I've seen roofs done by homeowners with copper sulphate purchased from Tractor Supply or other agricultural supply. when these roofs finally did clean up in a few months,..they were very clean.
I'm watching one right now that is on my daily travels,..it was bad,..and now I've recently noticed it is gradually getting lighter and lighter,..I may stop someday and ask them what they used,...because I can tell that it was sprayed treated with something.
But it is taking a long time,..compared to our method.
