There is no fixed pricing per click. It depends on your website relevancy, historic click through rate, target market & its competitiveness, competitor bidding amount & other factors. Its a typical bidding system...so if your competitor is bidding at $2/click; to do better you have to normally (not always though) bid higher. There is another metric Quality score which also controls the per click cost. w/o making it complicated, the per click cost can be couple of dollars to even up to $6-7/click. Some of our clients who are into carpet cleaning pay $6-7/click. Not very sure about roof cleaning business. But I can make a guess that carpet cleaning is lot more competitive business than roof cleaning is (correct me if I am wrong here). I hear this from some forum guys I have talked to before. Hope that helps. If you would like to know more on our Pay Per Click program, feel free to call me at 888-682-7487.
I would be interested in talking with you. I think I have a really fun and functional website but I need more traffic from it that leads to business. Please give me a call at 434-841-9889 www.AllWashed.com

I use Google adwords and get 3 to 9 clicks a day. But I get 0 phone calls sometimes and 3 or 4 from it. What gives? I sometimes think competitors click on my site over and over until my funds get spent for that day. Organic search is way better since it is free once you have figured out the algorythm and right meta tags. But to have someone do it for you will cost you an arm and a leg. My friend Dennis Miller is my friend but will not do my site unless I pay him big bucks. He has clients like Massey Pest Control and Del Air so why would he waste time for a few grand when he bank rolls off just those 2 companies not including his several other companies he doe SEO for.

I will correct you if you are wrong. In Florida carpet cleaning is way less competitive than roof cleaning. Google Orlando Roof Cleaning and it looks likes a warzone. And the map, hmmm looks like Florida just got the goosebumps.

You may be right in terms of actual # people looking out for cleaning services including web searches & non-web searches. You know business stuff more than I do :)-.
Here are statistics from Google which make more sense to me:

Here are statistics from Google which make more sense to me:
Most businesses target big cities. What experience do you have with targeting a group or even 1 small town?
For instance, I target Englewood,Fl 10,000 population
Rotonda,Fl 7,000 Population
Venice,Fl 20,000 population
Port Charlotte, Florida 47,000 in my generic ads.
How would the cost etc work outfor one of these or all of these.
I have absolutely no clue, when it comes to this stuff, so please explain it like you would to "A IDIOT"
I don't want to get involved in something that will run me $100.00 a month on up and perhaps not produce a high enough return monthly, to make it worth it.
Lastly, In the winter, I have more work than I can get done. Can adwords be run just June thru Sept???
Also, is that what all those top 3 ads are on Google? all adwords ads?
