I was just outside visiting with my friend Billy Jensen of H20 Roof Cleaning, and he just gave me what is a REAL advancement in roof cleaning technology. THIS is how I would rather spend my time guys.

I see no explanation or apology coming from Delux or the PWNA, nor do I see AC putting his foot down to support RCIA. What do you guys think about all this ? Am I wrong to call Deluxe and the PWNA out ? They are on our forum rent free, soliciting RCIA members money, yet refuse to use our certification for a class taught by an RCIA Member. Opinions needed !

It's a real kick in the nuggets to use a different certification. What good is it to have them here if they are just going to advertise for free and go against the RCIA? I like those guys, but it doesn't seem right to me.

Chris this board is yours, I never understood why you never offered roof cleaning classes yourself instead of letting these money greedy people come steal the show.

Chris I Paid three different times to learn what I know and I would of paid you too.

Chris why don't you get organized and have your own school. It wouldn't have to be any thing special.

I agree Phil but can't say "I like those guys". No, it isn't right. Look at the post for the round table. Boasting of another orgs cert and making money on top of a free place to advertise. What does AC do for free?

Chris: Many have spoken up in many different ways. On talk shoe Sunday night and for many months on the forum. It was mention earlier to have a poll. Easiest way to go.

Chris, I'm not as forgiving as you are. I would have booted him when he was bad-mouthing us on another forum. He had said he wanted nothing to do with us; but this morning all I see is his posts trying to sell us powder bleach. What is it, you want nothing to do with us unless you can make money off us?

I think you know in your heart Chris, that you are being toyed with and used by these guys-led by AC.

Scott, ask a bunch of people what I have done for free. Do I post everything? No. Have I talked on the phone, used PM's and email? Yes. I don't post and say much about roof cleaning because some people like to attack and call me things like Brett 5 roofs Thompson. Whether I have cleaned 2 roofs or 200 doesn't mean I don't have something to offer and I have done so. I have also been involved on most of the talk shoes as well as volunteered to help with certification (no matter what you think of it) I gave of my FREE time to help and keep the minutes.

Yes, you do offer help to some from time to time.

So, if one get's what they pay for, any solicitations here should have a price tag since this forum is number one in both residential and commercial.

I haven't attacked so there is no need to respond as usual.

This is a prime example of "trust but varify". You have to take Toms word for it until you find out what was really said.

"I tried very hard to draw them away from a marketing certification. We did create and ratify a 50 point standard. There is an element there that just wants free information without participation and a fraudulent certification. I am not sure if that is what they have now.

Certification should not be about marketing. It should be about proper techniques, safe operations, education, consistency. It shouldn't just be bias towards one technique, process or product. It should just make sure the roof is cleaned and not damaged, spelling out what bench marks need to be watched so as not to create damage to the roof.

I had thousands of hours invested there, got attacked. You know when you go to war it makes sense if you are protecting your land. Sometimes war even make sense if you are a mercenary and your getting paid to protect another's land. In both cases I was neither the land owner or getting paid. Wasn't my war so I needed to step aside so the new leadership could do what they needed to do without my controversy.

Nope. He said "I am not working with that .org anymore.".Which he isnt, he resigned. If someone doesnt work with mcdonalds anymore it doesnt mean they dont still eat there. maybe you misunderstood, or maybe you took it out of context on purpose, either way you are wrong. You should go back and read the thread again where he wishes good things on the Org, and does so on a forum that is VERY hostile towards RCIA. Just like I did a few months ago and got killed there for it too.

Chris, you should really take a look at who has TRULY supported the RCIA all along even when its not popular. but you also have to take criticism as well when it comes along.

I shall only seek RCIA certification right here, it's like buying a knock off version if sought elsewhere, if you ask me.
I have read on here for over 2 years and got involved right here, so my alliance rests here.
For me it would be like telling my teacher from school thanks for the education, now I will switch to XYZ to get my graduate certificate.
The teacher puts the time in to educate me and now I give my thanks to my instructor, by obtaining a certificate by someone who has no clue who I am or what I know.
Being certified is a fraction of what this forum has to offer, there is so much more than that, it is the constant or what used to be continual support by the members. There is no place any where else that does what RCIA can do, the sheer talent of the wide scope of members both premium and guests and the sharing of info in support of each other.
A certificate anywhere else would make me feel cheapened, Chris I would never sell it out or lease it out, nothing, keeping it where it belongs right here!
