Guys, I'm on the cert. committee. We are working hard to get things done. Remember the bleach wash products? I ordered mine, what was that 4-6 months ago, still have not arrived. You'd think after that crap delux would have their shit in order before offering classes with our certs.

Good to see your post Tom! I had no clue there were orders taken and placed for a product that no one as any clue as to when it will be available, words from Delux due to a phone call to them. I would hope your money has been refunded.
"Our Training options include 5-day Mobile Power Wash & Phil Ackland Certified Kitchen Grease Exhaust Cleaning Schools, 1-day maintenance & environmental Seminars, DVD Training for many applications of a pressure power washing including: Truck Washing, Flat Work, Awning Cleaning, Kitchen Grease Exhaust Cleaning, Window Cleaning, Environmental Power Washing, & Graffiti Removal."
They have just about everything else covered, might as well take over the roof cleaning industry. His son's power washing business covers 4 states with 70 employees. Is your state one he already services?
As Chris T stated: "However, we are the RCIA, and like to think we set the standards for roof cleaning."
Tom w/ Ace goes on to say: "I completely agree, we are the no pressure roof cleaning forum."
I know you guys are well intended and work hard, but this just isn't coming across very well. I mean really, don't you think you're gonna raise some eye brows with the conflict of interest? At least present the other options for certification before leaking this. It just seems a bit sloppy, sorry to be critical but it's just my opinion, and I'm obviously not alone.
Who do you think "leaked" anything?? Delux is a vendor that posted the info on a school they are offering, which will also offer certification training to anyone that wants it. RCIA has agreed. in principle, to lease the use of our 50 point standards and cert. program for a fee per person. All this is scheduled to occur after the target date the cert. committe has established for completion.

Not that I want to defend them Brett, but they took the order and no money was exchanged. They are going to charge upon delivery. I pm'ed yesterday for an eta for delivery. No word yet.
The Certification committee has NOT finalized the Program as of yet INCLUDING the SALE OR LEASE of RCIA certification.
So far it has been against MOST of the committees better judgement. Please let us finish our task at hand. I can assure all the members, that the committee has your best interests at hand.

Thank you Chris! I have plenty to say but it will breach the silence we all agreed to.
Now, with the Delux class out there, it has created just what we didn't want. The timing was bad, nothing was voted on with the BOD or the Cert. committee so now we just have a bunch of confusion. Are we just being pushed even more?
I remind everyone that this talk of certification (other than what was handed out) has been on the back burner for about five months with nothing happening. It took the work of others to get this moving and now we have Delux/AC in the game. Maybe they have been all along! What would have happened if some didn't push the cert. issue? Advertisement or not, it was never brought to anyone's attention. I just wish that had been put off. What's the big push for Delux anyway? I still say, this really smells!

Obviously an excellent move Chris! Nobody has done me more good in this business, than YOU! It must sadden you to see the great work you put together here, for the benefit of all roof cleaners and potential roof cleaners, turn into what it is at present. A lot of arguing, unhappy, uninformed, unsure, puzzled folks, not knowing for sure what's next! I think most all be fixed in time, but probably only by you making some hard to do moves. Clean house of profiteers and start rethinking things. Keep the good and helpful folks and show the take over guys the door. I may be all wrong, that would be nothing new. But I have all the confidence in the world in you and nothing but fear of what some of these guys want to use RCIA for! Pocket $$$ ? I don't know that I'm right, but I do know I'm not the only one who feels this way. Your Friend, Chuck
