I am still using Ammonyx Lo as my surfactant / detergent. My main purpose, is to get a thicker solution. I don't like fast runoff. Anyone found anything better for that purpose? Or as Ammonux as good as it gets? Thanks, Chuck

I don't believe search engines crawl the paid member section. Customer advertising over here is not going to help get your name out there. At least that is my thinking on it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Unless I took your post wrong and you were letting us know your coverage area, in that case, disregard my post.

You are correct. No search crawlers on premium side.
I'm trying a different surfactant from Southside Equipment on my first roof cleaning job of the year, I'll let ya know how it turns out! I thought it was called C1214 or something, but I see they only have an Amine Oxide product called Talon on there site now.

$12.00 a gallon is not bad, if you can get the desired results with 1/2 - 3/4 gallon per 100 gallons. But the shipping is over $15.00 on a gallon. It would be good if you lived near an outlet for the product! Let us know how it works! Thanks, Chuck

I have been using BC-MAO from Brainard Chemical in NC. Here is a copy of a previous email of some pricing. I ended up going with a 5 gallon to try it and the shipping came out to $25 for a total of $14.50/gal. I feel it is between the AM LO and AM M in thickness.
Barry,
I am sorry it has taken so long to reply but I am glad to hear from you.
The following prices do not include shipping costs.
Our current price for bleach is $100.25/drum. I understand about getting it local though.
I do carry the generic equivalent of the Ammonyx M known as BC-MAO. Here are quantities I stock with pricing:
5 gallon pail $47.04
15 gallon pail $123.12
55 gallon drum $441.00 (I do not currently have a full drum in stock so I would need app. 1 week to get to you.)
I can get Ammonyx M but I only can sell by the drum. Pricing would be in the $700 range. The BC-MAO is the same product without the brand name.
Please let me know what you are looking to purchase and I will put together a freight rate for you. Thanks for once again giving us the opportunity to be your supplier.

That sounds good barry! I looked at their website and it said for orders under $200.00 there was a $35.00 charge added? Did you just get a 5 gal container of the BC-MAO that with shipping averaged $14.50 a gallon? Thanks, Chuck

Chuck, I don't recall paying the $35 minimum order. I just paid the $47.04 + the $25 Shipping. Maybe they just waived the $35 fee to see if I liked the product, it was the first time I used it.
Barry, I wonder if there are restrictions for shipping to commercial or residential locations? Any idea? That price on SH is much cheaper than I pay now and it would be nice to have it delivered as opposed to drive 38 miles one way to pick up a drum of SH.
HangTite is good stuff!

Good old apple blossom dawn still. We tried AmLo and didn't like it. No pleasant smell, expensive to buy and ship and didn't thicken the mix enough.
We did test the Talon and liked it MUCH better. Still don't like having to order soap. I can get a box of the big bottles at sams for $15. Now that we use the injection system I'm not sure how much we use exactly. But we don't have to mix anything, just flip the switch and spray.

Much as I like things with Apple in them, Apple Blossom dawn will NEVER do this
