This is the policy Chuck. Several were "grandfathered in", including yourself before the policys were changed. Heck, it is only 100 bucks a year, WTF ? I know I personally have sent you well over that amount in work last year. This forum costs money to have, and the 100 dollars allows you  into the premium section, and to advertise in the certified directory. That alone is worth the 100 dollars. My dad was NIASE Certified as a mechanic in the old days, before it became the ASE. Once it became the ASE, he had to pay a little, but it brought in so much extra business!

I "Earned" it the 1st time, under the existing policies at the time and Chris T himself certified me according to the certification rules in existance at that time.
This could be an endless "New Policy" requirement. If it happened once, what's to stop it from becoming an ongoing "You have to pay again to be certified under policy change number 7?

The deal is this, the best I can explain and I'm sure it is here somewhere.

If you were certified before, you can still carry The title on all your stuff but if you didn't join the premium member side of the forum, you will always come up as guest. Once you join as a premium member, you get the title. Now I'm sure someone who knows the rules better will expand on this.

I have a nervous condition and I have tried cutting back on my meds in the last week.
Trouble is, when I take them, it's hard to work, because they make me lethargic.
Without enough meds, ~I~ get~ like~ this!~
My buttons don't need to be pushed, they go into rapid fire mode!
It certainly helps to have you and some others understand my thinking on this though!

Thanks and thanks for the jobs you sent my way to bid, I did get one of them in Ft Myers for $300.00 But that's really way out of my work range distance. I work Englewood, Rotonda, Venice, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Venice, Nokomis, Cape Haze, Placida, Grove City, Boca Grande and Osprey only. Just a bunch of small towns, basically. Occasionally, I go up to Southern Sarasota. But I try not to travel further than 30 miles ever.

Don't want to start a pizzing contest on here, but I'm not going to stand by and listen to all the false statements you are making regarding this whole thing. All this has transpired over the months since 11-01-10. Why you had no interest in any of it up until now is a personal decision you made. But please don't come on here and act like thiis is some kind of well guarded secret or conspirancy.  Details of all the info you are looking for are in various posts within the forum. Please search them out and you will find everything well documented and explained.
If you so choose to become a premium member, yes it can be handled by credit card and the title will be immediate. Whoever you are referring to that has not received a title change, please furnish his name and that will also be processed. Granted, I have been out of the loop somewhat for over a month due to having both knees totally replaced, but I know of no one that is waiting for any thing from me.
RCIA is always looking for talented people that want to help further the cause and direction that has been chosen for RCIA to become a true leader in the roof cleaning industry.  Please come join us.

OK! I paid the required payment through Paypal. It said "Donation" ? I thought it was a charge that was required? That's not what a donation is?
I don't care though. I just want my business name to say "CERTIFIED ROOF CLEANER" and I will be OK with it all.
I'm ready to move on.
In fact, I have some pictures of some of my equipment setup ideas, that I want to share later.
