Here are some photos of a skid that I am building to hold my tank and pump.  Already changes are being made to the build, I will post those as they are completed.  The front is being raised 6" to accommodate the pump, accumlator, ball valve, switches, etc.  All mounted on aluminum plates.  Rubber feet(dock bumpers) are being added to the bottom to enable antivibration mount as well as not sliding in my truck bed or on the trailer.  End caps have been ordered and the entire build will be powder coated when done after all screw holes and mounting areas are drilled.  This will ensure the coating gets inside the tubing.

Tubing is galvanized 1.5" steel tubing, same weight as aluminum and one forth the cost even after powder coating.  Weight without tank and battery is 63 lbs.  Tank will be strapped in the frame.  Aluminum when mounted will have a rubber (viton) backing to isolate dissimilalar metal corrosion as well as the SS screws and bolts being used.

Another piggyback tank mount is being built to hold a 50 gal tank if needed for extra chemicals and can be bolted to the main frame for security.

Will post more pictures this week as it is being modified and worked on.

Bob - Thanks for the info on the plugs, I found some but they were more expensive, your link really helped.

Toy2 - Thanks man appreciate the positive replys.

I forgot the actual dimensions on my Titan hose reel, got carried away with cuttin' and welding, therefore it's the reason for the upcoming modifications to the top.

I'll post more pictures as it comes together with the hose reel and pump mountings and the rubber feet.

Lookin' good Fred,..I personally love cutting, grinding and welding. That will be a nice professional looking unit. Being able to do this work yourself opens up so many more possibilities,...and you can always add to it when you need to.

Received my SS Titan 4318 hose reel today and the aluminum plate I was waiting on.  Will get my plug ends and Banjo ball valves tomorrow.  I plan on finishing the new welds and mounting the pumps and accessories this weekend.  Stay tuned for new photos.
