I was hearing the pump cycling too, and must admit I was and am curious as to why.
Also wondering how that thing would stand up to the SH going through it with any regularity. Not that I've ever used any yet, but from what I've read here it's sounds like some seriously corrosive chit

A word of experience, keep that marine battery away from the bleach, or it can go BOOM. For real! I once did a roof up in Land O Lakes with a broke down nissan pick up stuck in the driveway. Bleach got on the hood, found it;s way to the batttery, and blew a dent in the hood. You were getting a bit of run off, inevitable on a tile roof. We use a smaller nozzle for tile roofs, but we run air diapraghm pumps, and this is not a problem, Delevan's cycle if nozzle size too small.
Thanks...I'm still a newbie & like I said on another post,I was really kinda shy about posting on here with you pro's. Please feel free to tell me where I'm going wrong. One thing I will tell you is I have every intention of doing these roofs the best I know how
Dang Pat you heard from the owner of that pump outfit (Aaron) AND from Chris Tucker himself both within an hour of this post? Buy a lottery ticket tonight
I was really surprised! It worked great. I had modified the hose, added about 30 ft to it.It was a pain because I had to move it around 4 times.
Used it last week to remove a bunch of wallpaper from a foyer.
Yeah after looking at it I was thinking the hose would have to be kept short with such a small pump.
So Aaron, do you think it would still work ok with a 100 feet of hose? It might make a good emergency unit in pinch!
I really kinda liked it's super low flow,2 gls per minute, which really saved on juice. When I first used the bigger 1 I was freakin out on how fast I was goin through my mix

I know! And am glad Chris chimed in. I had no idea that the love could explode.. But then that's why I'm here and still reading so much.
There's just so much to take in on this site.

Pat I have a 26 gal unit with 100ft of 3/8 hose on a hose reel.
I use it for spraying herbicides not roof mix but it works great.
no problems in 2 years.
If I get a chance to tak a pic tomorrow I will post.
Chris
Thanks Chris! I wonder if the pump failed on one of these small units if it could just be replaced with a delevan from pressure tech? With some possible modifying of course.

Chris also has a link on his website to a guy who mixed bleach and acid together in a pump sprayer and blew himself up and put a hole in the customers roof!!
He had to be airlifted in a chopper to the hospital for chemical burns and roof shrapnel !!!!!
Same thing with a battery and bleach. Batteries contain sulfuric acid which of course is a bad combination when mixed with bleach.
