I bought a 65 and a 125 gallon tank. They wanted over $100 for the 2 metal straps for the 125gal. and $45 for the 65 Gal. No way I was going to pay that. I bought these mounts at Lowes. They are for anchoring down mobile homes. The 35' long straps they use with it were 1 1/2" wide. To wide. I needed 1/2" or 3/4" straps. I went to My local John Deere and asked them if they had the metal banding that they use for When they load a pallet for shipping. Lucky me they did. They gave me 4- 8' long pieces for free. The bolt in the picture has a slot down the middle. Put it through the bracket and then you slide the band through the slot and turn the bolt to tighten it down. I'm going to paint the bands first so they won't rust to quickly.

I just came across this Rust Encapsulator today while I was surfing the net. It just may come in handy for those bands from what the customer reviews say. There is alot of other good items on that site that I thought would come in handy for roof cleaners also.
I was thinking the something about the cost of the tank hold downs. way over priced
I saw a setup once that used 1/4 cable and stainless steel turnbuckles.
That's a good idea also. I have left over cable from when I hung my Riding lawn mower from the ceiling . I got tired of it being in my way. Thank god I had a high ceiling. I installed a pulley in the ceiling over by the wall and ran it down to the floor where I anchored a 12v winch ( $39) to the concrete floor.

I bought plates with a D loop at Harbor Freight and bolted them to my trailer. I used ratchet tie down straps and secured my tanks to the trailer. I can remove my tank within a minute and remove if needed. You can buy these tie down plates at trailer supply stores.

B. A.'s distinctive appearance and confrontational attitude usually lead to a more direct approach to problems, which often involve either his skills at hand to hand combat, or his mechanical talents.
Hannibal once said to B. A., "With a pair of pliers and a little time, you could fix anything but dinner
Thanks David I needed to tie down 2 tanks in the pressure washing van I'm outfitting (not used for roof cleaning) and the tie down problem came up. I ordered the hardware today from a mobile home place my Lowe's did not have it. I never even heard of a split bolt. RCIA Prem site paid for its self today.
Here is one I did so my grinder won't take up counter space when I am not using it. It slides out on drawer glides and then flips up onto the counter. I epoxied magnets from old hard drives to it and then glued 2 more magnets to a piece of wood under the counter. That was enough to hold it in place.
After looking at the first picture I just realized I can make a little drawer and slide it right in there. That would be a good place to keep a couple vise grips and screw drivers. Tomorrows project!
