We are currently running number one on Google in most searches for roof cleaning!
This means the RCIA Forum will most likely get into, and maybe even dominate your local roof cleaning searches. It is important HOW you word your post to best use the forum. The title of your post shall be Roof Cleaning - then where you do it at
Example - Roof Cleaning Tampa and that is ALL !
No Shingle Chitter Cleans Roofs In Nantuckett stuff.
Then, make a Tag that will say Roof Cleaning Tampa,  or whatever market you are aiming the roof cleaning forum AT.

You next line of text (after the headline) should be " here is a roof cleaning in tampa we did recently" OR "this tampa roof cleaning came out beautifully"
Look at my promotional posts, or larry's . Copy what we do, just change the keywords to reflect your target market. Learn to send the roof cleaning forum after your competitors, and kick their azz.
And why shouldn't we rule the roof cleaning search world ? We are trained roof cleaners who clean roofs the correct way.

Your Title tage will show up on the search title and the first line on your post under that will show also for all to see.

Example:

Roof Cleaning Dayton, Ohio

Here are some pictures of a roof cleaning job we did in Dayton. Etc. etc.

Not true Bill, read what Bruce Sullivan just posted, the Title shows up first, and then the relevant line of text from the post (usually the first line of text)

Plus, you can do Shingle Roof Cleaning Dayton OH, Cleaning Shingle Roof dayton Ohio, Non Pressure Roof Cleaning Dayton, OH - You see what I mean ?

Got it.  Something else I was thinking about recently was the use of tags.  I know someone (probably you, Chris) has a post out there specifically about this but it looks like members are using them less than half the time.

Yes, tags are all important for best SEO. The tags should match the title and content of your post, for example, if roof cleaning phoenix arizona is your title, and Ron's Roof Cleaning does non pressure roof cleaning in phoenix is your text, then tags shall be roof cleaning phoenix arizona, and non pressure,
This is because it hits all the keywords. Stick to using Tags only for main keywords, do not Tag something like "ron has been cleaning roofs in phoenix for 25 years"

Try to keep your tags to 3-5 words. More threads will work better than more tags. It is a shame more people don't use them.

For anyone that may have forgotten to add tags on their promotional posts, they can be added after the fact via the edit function.  I just did it to one of mine that I'd missed before.
