This is a great POST, and it's in the Free section. Solciting on Sundays I don't think is a good idea. Puting flyer out I think is OK. We as contractors lose alot of days due to rain and other factors. We all need to work when we can. Any day we work and make money is a good day, Work when you can and when you want! It puts food on the table and keeps the wife HAPPY.

Now you trying to tell me your last post on the ladder thing you didn't come on here and tell everybody that the whole thing was staged, was a joke, and laughed at everybody??
You have to realize that there is a lot of new inexperienced people on here. They see pictures like you posted, and think that is the proper way to place a ladder. Most will not read all the way through to see that that is against every safety principle, including OSHA. Posts like that is why RCIA is being forced to obtain errors & omissions insurance for approx. $3k a year. We, and possibly you could be sued if someone got hurt and stated they learned that here.

Wow you gotta be kidding me.

you tell me what was unsafe about that? I used the ladder that was standing straight up to climb up to the roof, then I hopped on the other ladder to continue up the roof, the feet was dug into the ground it was not going any where.

now their was no point at the top of the roof so how was i to use a roof hook

I want to start seeing you criticize others for walking on slippery roofs and doing other things.

we are cleaning roofs, we all cannot afford a high lift every time we do a roof.

Gary please don't think for a minute that I  would post something as silly as your suggesting.

I been using ladders for 20 years I know what is as safe that can be expected with a ladder and what is not.
