Is it a bad Idea to solicit roof Cleaning on Sundays

Hey clyde you should go to the local churches and put flyers on all the cars THEN go knocking door to door. Sundays just another day. Only difference is most people will be home in the afternoon.

If I came out of church and found a flyer that had anything other than church business on it I know how I would react. Here is a marketing idea I will not be pursuing.

I do alot of estimate's on Sunday mornings. I find home owner are more relaxed after church. I sell alot of work on Sunday Mornings. I don't think I would go knocking on doors.

You will find people home, and the amount of no's you get should stay about the same. You may meet some bothered Christians, but many seem to take pity that you have to work on Sunday. Personally, I think you should try to take at least that one day off for your own health, but when times are tough the tough get working.....

I have worked on a Sunday but it is not a common practice I do. I would not put flyers in a church parking lot on someone's car, if it happened to me I would probably be upset. I go to church but if I do work it is after if needed but again not a common practice.

very rarley on saturdays and only phone work after 5pm on sundays (usually to confirm monday appts. or something)
I turned down Chick-Fil -A, because like them I won't work. They understood.

I would not do flyers in churck parking lot but I would look for were alot of them go after church then you hit there cars with flyer. Church goers like to eat lunch out after church find the resturaent or go to wal mart put flyers on the cars.

No work on sundays, I would be very upset if someone rang my door bell on anyday. I'm glad theres laws agaist all that in AZ. NO SOLICITING in most Citys.

I have a funny Story about bailing my head salemens out of Jail. Yes they arrested him for knocking on doors.

Personally I do not want anyone knocking on my door, missionarys are allowed to. Frankly they often wake me on days leaving the material on the door.

I work Mon - Fri and often just Mon - thurs, I hate working weekends and I feel sorry for you residential guys. I'm enjoying family and doing stuff around the house.

Thats funny a Christian company wants us to wash on sunday while they are closed. Did you know the owners work sundays doing inventory often? They also have people doing repairs and fixing stuff while they are closed on sundays. LOL

Knocking on doors in Volusia County is illegal, unless you have applied, been approved and recieved your license. Costly too!

It's a bad idea. Sunday for Christians is a day to worship the Lord and rest. Even non-Christians look at Sunday as a day of rest and family time. Most people would find it irritating to interrupt their rest, family time, game time, etc to answer the door and find a salesman waiting for them.
