Has anyone that has tried this new product used Ammonyx Lo or Mo ever? How does it compare to Ammonyx Lo or Mo?

I use the ammonyx lo all the time. It's about all I ever use anymore. I'm sure that the C1214 will be pretty much comparable to it.

I called Russ after lunch on Tuesday and ordered a gallon of Talon. (That rhymes.) It arrived on Thursday less than 48 hours after I called for it. It came discreetly packaged in cardboard and it included his card, a pen, AND MSDS. I can't wait to use it on Saturday.

We use ammonyx Lo and I believe this is the same stuff, Just a different name. Well that's what my supplier told me (Univar) Same stuff guys.

Univar is where I bought my Ammox Lo & Ammox Mo from. Good stuff. I like the MO better for composite roofs that are very steep like this one.

If you have high concentrations of algae and are using 40% or more SH for total mix with enough Am-LO MO or this stuff the "foam" is caused by the oxidation of the cell walls in the algae. It releases both the oxygen and chlorine gas and that gas is trapped in the surfactant causing a reaction like foam.

Same thing happens with shower soap scum fighting propducts.

We try to do it on purpose for tile roofs as..,
1. it is impressive to the customer
2. we know we didn't miss a spot.

I can put 50 gallons on a barrel tile roof and get less than 3 gallons of run off, consistantly.

YES, customers LOVE this stuff, especially the bubbles! I have had to almost fight a whole senior community when we accidentally ran out of it. The seniors were bitching that bubbles were NOT coming off their roofs like the people from across the street! I had one old guy tell me how many people he killed in Viet Nam!

The Talon worked great on the roof. I didn't spray any on the windows, so I'm not sure about that!
Seriously, what little overspray I got on second story dormer windows on the two houses I tested rinsed right off.

It is chemically related to both myrastamine and lauramine (amonyx LO) so I would think it will be great for not spotting windows.

I tried this product on a steep roof and experienced quite a bit of run off compared to Ammonyx, but it worked great on roofs with an average pitch. The consistency is much different that Ammonyx lo and M
