My competitors would LOVE to get in this subdivision, LOL
You KNOW they read this roof cleaning forum ?
They lurk on here, hoping a juicy tidbit might fall their way.
One time, I deliberately posted that a Tampa Subdivision was "getting letters"
They were NOT, I just wanted to have some fun

The next day, I drove through the subdivision, you could see the Hillbilly and Gypsy roof cleaners out swarming the subdivision.
I had a competitor shop me the other day, so I told him we would clean the roof for 75 dollars, LOL
He forgot to call block his phone

That's a great story and I'm SURE there will be many more stories like that for all of us. It's always good when you luck out and do work for the "Grand-Father" of the Jone's.

Raining here and will be windy tomorrow, looks like the 3 i want to do (to include my first) will have to wait till Friday and the weekend as the temps will be in the 60's.

Folks, THIS is exactly how you make money in this business, going roof to roof to roof with fast roof cleaning trucks. My trucks are designed for exactly this scenario, so we are "in our glory" ! Plus, it is sunny, and 80 degrees out, so we can use the chemical a little on the weaker side. The roofs are about postage stamp size, all shrubs are very hardy ones, and many homes have gutters.

Well, it has slowed down now, but we have signs flying all over that neighborhood.

I expect a new wave of customers pretty soon, especially since it rained hard last night!

I'm starting to get smart like that too! Getting shopped, for roofs!

I was washing my truck couple years ago. Dude rolled up and asked me my price per foot on gutters. I told him he was asking me all wrong! And I wasnt about to get shopped! Too obvious!!! He said he owned a painting co. and didnt do gutters. I said Painting!!! I dont have a painter yet to net work with!!!! Got a card from him, and went back to washing my truck. Later I looked at the card, painting and new gutters, lol!!! I threw the card away.
