We charge on a per window basis, and that flat fee per window fluctuates by season.

Normally a standard double hung window we do for $15 per window in and out. That includes glass surface, screen wash and a wipe out of the sills and tracks. Some other types of windows like 6/6 storms command upwards of $30 per window because they are so time consuming.

About the same as Chris L described above (same region) for regular double hung windows.

When it comes to storms I peak out at about $25 each though. The way I see it, if I'm going to have to charge more than $25, then it usually means the windows will have to be cut open / hardware doesn't work / havent been cleaned since 1892.

At that point I explain to the customer that replacement is a better option than cleaning. The aggravation of spending 1 hour on each window isn't worth it to me.
