I am using 5/8's inch hose on my set up. Looking to purchase a good real. What are your recommendations on who to purchase from and what type real has proven best?

LET us know when you find one that will last ? We have been using Titan Hose reels, but the stainless steel manifolds have been snapping at the weld from 3 to 6 months! Titan is aware of the problem, and they are very nice people! But until they find a fix for this flaw, I can not suggest them for use. Perhaps they have fixed the problem by now ? I would call Titan Hose Reels in Clearwater Florida, ask for Mark Teschler, and see what fix, if any, they have come up with ?
I have been using Titan with no problems but do not run nearly as much SH through it as Chris or some of these other guys do. I'm hoping to get much more use out of it than 6 months, especially for the cost of them. So far I have got 45+ roofs out of it.

Yeah, we do a lot of roof cleaning work sometimes. Plus being in Florida, we clean roofs all year long. We are pretty much a roof cleaning only company, since that makes up 80 percent of our work. It took many years of hard work to get to where we are, and i am not sure i would have done it over again. WAY more repeat business in exterior cleaning, we just never went after it, like we are now!
Cox reels are OK, I'd compare them to Titan. On my current set-up I said #$%# it all and bought tow of the cheapest Reel Craft I could fins. I figured no matter which kind I get I'll eventually have issues, so why not screw up something cheap rather than expensive. My RC's are going 1.5 years now, and starting to show some rust, but no leaks and still roll up nicely.

Model number on the plate is CA32118L. I've been very happy with them when compared with the $$ I spent. I will give this disclosure however, my roof pump is also my rinse pumps, so my reels are always purged for at least 20 minutes after each job.
Seems like last time I bought hose & reels it was about $300 - $350 per reel loaded with 300 foot of 1/2 inch goodyear hose. Don't quote me on that price, it was 1.5 years ago and I'm shooting from a chlorine stained memory.

I hate to recommend the Titans since so many have had issues. But we've used the same one for 2 1/2 years and only had to rebuild the swivel a few times. No other problems,
Take the new rig out today for its maiden voyage with 2 new titan reels so we'll see how these hold up in the long haul.

As of right now though, Titan has my vote.
Post some pictures of the set up when you get a chance!
I am running the titans Bruce, no problems with mine and going on a 1 year with one for roof cleaning and one for pressure washing. What I do like about them is you can get the stainless manifold for 120.00 bucks and just swap out if it go's bad so I guess it would be your choice.
