Went to the doctor yesterday and scheduled my surgery for both total knee replacements. The surgery is scheduled for 01/12/2011. I will be in the hospital for 3-4 days, and then at a physicial therapy place (live in) for approx 2-2.5 weeks before coming home and having computer access again. I could buy a laptop with a wireless card, but I'm too damn cheap. Anybody going to get me a Christmas present, this would be great!! Maybe someone has one I can borrow? Gary
Ouch!!! Was that caused by roof cleaning? We will miss you and wish you a speedy recovery.
NO, not caused by roof cleaning, but I'm sure that it didn't help it. Years ago (45) I was a lineman at the telephone co.. Climbing poles all day tends to wear things out pretty quick. A couple motorcycle crashes didn't help either. Oh, such is life!! If I knew I was going to live this long, I wouldn't have done a lot of what I did
I'll survive though. Always have, always will. Gary
Yet another reason for me not to get a motorcycle permit. Ladders and roofs have provided enough danger for me over the years. 'Nothing like sliding off a cedar roof!

I stop climbing poles after a kickout and driving a peice of the pole the size of a lighter into my underarm.
I too also have issues with my knees, but thankfully no where near what you have going on Gary. God speed my friend! Your a tough ol bird!
