Although the temperatures are just over 40 degrees, we are still working.  Just by changing the temperature in the mix, we can optimize our season up here in the Northeast.

Great idea, Markus!

I thought I was done for the year, but scheduled one job next week because the temps will be over 50 deg. I'll try the hot water idea, thanks.

Do you just mix a little at a time? I'd imagine that the water wouldn't stay hot for very long?

No. just before I pull out of my driveway, I put straight hot water instead of cold water into the mix.  Other people may do things differently, but this works for us.

That is good advice Markus. I have been doing that for 2 years now and it definitely helps. I hooked up a hot water spigot in my garage and I fill my tank with as much hot water as I can when the temperatures are going down to the 30's at night.
