Alpha as in my first setup!  For $1200 you too can have a humble rig like this.

Started with an $85 piece of junk steel frame 4x8 trailer and after much effort and countless hours of reading posts on this board it's now a usable profit making piece of equipment.

Pardon the electrical connections they're not quite permanent as you'll notice.

Nice rig. How do you like rolling up the hoses.  I couldn't take it anymore; but didn't want to spend alot, so I bought a large garden hose reel $40.00-$50.00 done.  Not the greatest but it works nice till I get a good one. Good luck and go make some money.

More tired of spending money!  But a hose reel is in planned for sure.  I have the space for it (unless I get the second tank first (sigh)).

I had actually planned for them to be upside down.  Cut my holes, routed all the hoses only to find out that when I mounted the pumps upside down I noticed they would be pumping in the wrong direction, like back into the tank!  So I just flipped them right-side up for now.  When there's a nice weather spell and I'm not on a roof I'll reverse everything.

Ordering a titan reel tomorrow.  Probably just start out with the aluminum.  Anyone else have one?  Too painful to fork out for the stainless one at the moment.

Heres a pic of my first trailer. Still using it. Has worked out great. The trailer wasnt finished yet and took it out!!

It was up to date with the knowledge at the time.

This trailer does it all!

You can see in one pic how I'm using the 5 gallon bucket for roofs, Wood, any chemical spraying. The PW is for houses, and everything the PW is for. The tank is a buffer, for houses with well water and supplies me water when mixing up apple cider.

And pics of the graphics getting put on.

so far, the only thing I've had to replace is the quick connect to the reel.

The red line is the chem line. I watch the straps carefully, no prob yet. The sh is mixed on the ground next to the trailer. So it really cant get spilt on anything. Lil secret, not really lol! The 100 foot of chem line and the hose reel I got at tractor supply for 50 bucks I think, maybe it was 100? All hose reels carry 100 ft. 200 wouldve been beter.

I like your idea with the sinage on the trailer. More noticable than mine! What are all those pumps for, I think I seen more than one?

well the sign is a banner ad I had printed.  Cheap and effective.  It's not really rigged up for highway driving.  But we don't drive any faster than 40-45 (at most) around here so no problems.

The two pumps are a 5850 and a 7812.  I picked up two with a banjo three way for a couple of reasons.

1) back up.  Don't want to have to wait for replacement parts if one goes down.  So both are wired up and ready.

2) I believe it was your philosophy of use a smaller pump have less run off.  Every house has cedar siding here and many have ridiculous landscaping and every drop of love needs to stay on the roof and not spot the surrounds.  Will be looking into foam in the near future.  The 5850 is for when I feel more confident and or have a really large roof to do.

I was thinking brace the top. just some more wood, ya got it!!! Signs should be safe.

About the pumps. Assuming you have used both on roofs. 2gpm and 5 gpm, good and bad about both?

Untill I get away from the 5 gallon bucket I'm staying with the 2 gpm. For the ground guy its a bitch! LOL!!

3 min to get another 5 gal ready! lol!!!

It can be done. Every time.

Mike, if my 55 isn't full of sh I use it; when it is full I carry a garbage can full of plastic sheating for tarping landscaping; I empty the can and mix my chems.  I normally make 40 gallons so I made a mark in the can so I know how much water to add.

Actually I'm not quite advanced enough to use the 5gmp pump.  Due to a grave weather miscalculation  I'm forced to use a pump-up with the tank and pumps for water supply 'cuz everybody has there water turned off.  the 2gpm is enough for my ground man.

Andreas - I have a Titan and so far so good with the aluminium holding up.  The manifold and the swivel are the main areas of concern, however they're stainless, even on the aluminium version.  I watch mine very closely having read about Chris' problems with Titans not long ago.   I put at least 5 gallons of H20 through it at the end of the day, always.

I'm no marketing expert, so take this with a grain of salt - I'd try to get a before and after pic on your trailer signage.  Perhaps roof cleaning is more well known in your area? I need to do the same or perhaps a (partial) wrap as AC recently recently recommended).

I think that pictures create an 'ah-ha' moment, at least around here.   Seems as if most folks have no idea that roof cleaning can even be done.

Nice rig!

I've been meaning to put a before and after roof pic on my back window of the truck. I didnt get to it this year.

Heres a pic of one of the roof shampoo guys, that goes by metro roof cleaning.

He showed up as I was finishing up the estimate. I didnt get this job.

He has a before and after pic on his tailgate. A trailer would cover that up. The back windshield would be better. heres a pic of his truck.
