What has happened on roller pumps is not just the rollers go bad, the chlorine eats the pumps inner chamber, clearances increases, pressure falls to Chit, and flow with it. Give it a try, wtf ? Maybe this one will hold up ? They spray crazy good, WHEN they work. I like the idea of the easy to replace rollers! Plus it is solid stainless inside now, vs coated like before. The Delavan engineers may have finally solved the puzzle ?
It will have to be rinsed after every job, but it MAY work ? Why not call Delavan, and see if they will guarantee it, or buy it from some large place that will take it back when it dies, after you rinse the bleach out of it, and run some pine sol through it to hide the smell
They spray better than anything else I've tried. They just don't last. I'm not sure how much this new one runs, but if you've got the motor and system to run one of these and have $250 to burn, try it out and see how long it lasts. But don't change your whole system to accommodate one because it probably wont last.
