 Grizz,

Lets line up some roofs in Jax and Ill come up and play!

AC

So, let me get this straight.  I just need to line up a couple of roofs and you'll drive up so we can "play."  Ummm...cool!  When do you want to do it?

Also, if I keep you within arm's reach of all the BBQ you can handle, can we turn this into a mini-Excursion?  Haha!  Just kiddin with ya.

Awesome pump.  I'll have to order one.

Scott, I don't see the max amperage rating written anywhere.

Do you know how many amps it draws?

I just ordered mine from Bob, also going to hook up the flojet accumulator tank as well with it. Bob told me he personally tested / tortured the pump for 6 months and it held up flawlessly. From what I've read it seems like longevity is the major pitfall on these 12V pumps but this could well be the solution to that problem?

I found this new JABSCO PAR-MAX 7 gpm 80 psi pump.

It looks similar to the new Flojet Pentaflex 7.0

This pump costs more but it may hold up longer because it has a glass filled poly head instead of a glass filled nylon head.

If I'm not mistaken that's the same compnay that makes the flojet out of the same plant right?

The pump actaully completely stopped pumping during a job 2 weeks ago. Once I disconnected the hoses from it, it pumped fine dry. I think it may be a vapor lock problem, but havent had time to do any testing.

click the 4 model specs mike, the 12 volt draws 35 amps, and it is 60 psi NOT 80 psi !
